lowkey might be kpop album of the decade. I firmly believe that this album should have been promoted like a western album where they push more than just one or two songs. Don’t Care, Prom Night, and What I Want have potential to be super popular if they were promoted.

Love everything about this EP. Lots in the fandom have been asking for a longer intro so I was happy to see this one. It's gorgeous and takes you on a journey. Justice is empowering and the vocal work is just dumb. Stomp continues that empowering feeling. In concert this is going to be ridiculous because they'll probably have everyone stomping and screaming stop. 2 Rings definitely has a bit of a country rock vibe. They even added a bit of twang to their vocal delivery. If you've not watched the showcase for this yet, you should, it's got choreo. This is probably going to be the song that they try to end Somnia with during the concert... Fireflies is an immaculate traditional ballad. Again the vocal work here is just fantastic. The 2- and 3-part harmonies and the backing vocals are great and the acapella section at the end is just icing on the cake. Definitely agree with what you said about the backing vocals. DC always have really good backing vocals, but I feel like the vocal experimentation they started in Villains really solidified in Virtuous and it's honestly ridiculous how good they sound. This is their 16th Korean title track and their 16 Korean album release and they're still upping the game with no signs of slowing down. Jiu keeps hinting at something getting released around Christmas, like a Christmas album, and has asked the fans to not have any plans for the 24th so I'm hoping that we do actually get a Christmas album from them. I'd love to see them do some rock versions of Christmas tracks.

what's wrong with sappy? it's NCT trademark, every last song in their album is sappy. It's like a time to rest after a long journey.

this album gives me heavy neo zone vibes, the way the songs make me feel brings me back to 2020 and it makes sense since this album is all about 127s journey! they once again gave us a sound that is specific to them yet unique to their style.

i haate the sappy ending songs so much and they always do this😭 the only time they pulled this off was with 1,2,7 time stops at the end of the 2 baddies album. this would have been such a perfect album w/o meaning of love imo
the ending songs seem to be for the fans I think they're gonna do it with every album😭

It is sooooooooo refreshing to hear a group evolve and not just rely on what has worked in the past. I was also worried they were going to lean into the y2k lo-fi concept that everyone seems to be into. Instead they gave us a masterpiece of an album. It is 127's unique spin on the 2000's r&b/hip hop genre. 10's across the board with this album.

This whole album is a viiiiiibe and I LOVE the vibe, so I love the album. I'm also a sucker for - not all sappy, but 127 sappy - and the MV for Meaning of Love warms the heart. What a masterpiece this album is. Thanks for the reaction 🥰 it's always interesting and insightful with you!

(Long comment warning, LOL) but am I too late to give my two cents about this? I'm a SWITH since pre-debut, but I have to agree with some of the comments here. The album feels a bit poorly thought out. I love Stayc and was hoping for the best for their first album, but things just don't fit together. Like, "Twenty" makes some sense since they're 20 something and growing from their last concept, but the rest? Not so much. If they're changing between songs, it just feels like an excuse to throw random songs together. And what was the point of that 10-minute teaser if it doesn't even match with what we got in the end? Makes me miss the "Stereotype" era where everything connected-teasers, MV, everything. Plus: CIT is catchy, but it doesn't match the rest of the album or say much. The lyrics are chaotic too, and being too short doesn't help AT ALL! They should've played it safe and made "1 Thing" the title track, at least it has a bridge. Recently, I listened to 4minute's Act 7 again after years and all the songs talk about breaking up, with instruments matching the feelings. Stayc should've tried something like that but in anothe lineage, showing us their changes and growth to a new era of them as a group. The departments at HighUp Ent. seem disconnected, like producers don't talk to the art or marketing teams at all lol. I like a lot of the songs, but they don't belong together on an album. They need to think critically about their group concept and how they experiment with the girls, specially because stayc isn't a big group on a big company, and SWITHs aren't a huge fandom either. Not saying they should be worried to aplease the masse, but playing around is not going to help!

I loved Justice, but Stomp is the bomb. Can you imagine if this was the title track? I really think it would blow up even more than Justice 2 Rings is actually about motorcycle (2 Rings = the tires) and really felt like biker gang type song. It's funky and fun Fireflies just played with my emotion so easily. The harmonies🥴 Easily one of their best ballads
Stomp is fantastic, definitely the dark horse of the album, didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but they did it again, dreamcatcher did mf-ing did it again!!

It's DEFINITELY your algorithm! We've been in shambles for a while trying to figure out the mycos and the arg for this one. You're the second person I saw say it basically came out of nowhere though, which is just blowing my mind lol social media algorithms have been suffering with ads and suggested content. People really are missing stuff they actually care about
People just aren't following enough of Dreamcatcher related users and a maybe never clicked Dreamcatcher as interested in content for twitter.

It's serves to make the final chorus more impactful though, where it's removed and they have more layered vocals.
