first thing I noticed was the Berman and Nathan tag! what a find!!!
One of the best demos I have seen for fall replacement. Thanks for doing this.
Nice pick, from Wested. This cut suits you.
Great jacket. Will look good with a pair of jeans and timberland boots also.
Underrated
The kinksters need to step out. It's a tool and we aren't weird
what's a good 4ft bullwhip for money? do you recommend snake over bullwhip for beginner? I'll be practicing mostly indoors. love you channel keep up the god work.
The economy bullwhip is a great option! The think the shortest length available is 5ft, but I’m sure you can custom order one shorter. I’d suggest a bullwhip over snake for beginners because of the balance with the handle.
Can you do a whip give away??
Thanks for asking! I don’t do any giveaways, but sometimes Swordguybuilds does raffle off a whip every now and then. Subscribe to his channel and there could be something in the future.
Where can you buy the best whips in Europe
I’m not sure of a lot of whipmakers, but one I know of is Giovanni Celeste, who makes fantastic kangaroo whips.
is the Magnolia Clothiers Whip real Kangaroo? If yes then this seems like a great whip for the price
The Magnoli whip is cowhide. A good prop piece, but not good for cracking.
@@rustybullwhips2084 , Thanks for the reply, Rusty
Hello, I find your bag very beautiful. Do you perhaps have an address? Thx
Hi! Thanks for appreciating the bag! I’m not sure what you mean by “address?” I got this as a gift from a friend.
Wow! Now you’re making me reminisce about my first whip. Great video.
Your raiders hat looks awesome! Is it new?
Yes! It’s an Advintage Harrison!
Well for what it is it sure cracks well. You can can do all the cracks with it and how much have u cracked it and how long youve had it. I had one like that. It was really good. Nice video.
what kind of whip? (length, brand, material) .I have a 12-foot whip, and I am unable to do the types of cracks shown here.
This is a 10 foot Todd’s Costumes cowhide bullwhip. When the whip is very long, the cracks will come slower and fewer. An 8 foot whip would be easier for cracking tricks. You can buy one here: www.toddscostumes.com/costumes/indiana-jones-collection/indiana-jones-bullwhip-original-raiders-bull-whip/
Cool 😎
The hat being a 56' would naturally feel snug. If your a 57' you should be more comfortable to a 57.5-58' FYI!!
When you say you broke it, how did it happen & what was the damage ?
I was trying to remove an old fall and I accidentally broke one of the hitch strands with my fid trying to get it out.
Oh wow, i would have either contacted Joe for help, or messaged Blake @ trinity, both are top blokes & in my experience they would bend over backwards to help you out, such a shame there’s 1 less Strain whip in the world now 🙁
I bought the Crystle Skull whip by acident but seeing it was my first real Indy prop whip I wasn't complaining. it is a dark tone and the plating is thick with a more square ball handle. at the time Todd's did not offer other film style whips and the add and image on the box was a tan but the whip was a dark whisky brown: im shopping for another and seeing Todd's has a Raiders style now I think I'll go with that. thanks for the review it helped a bunch😊💯🤠
Nice bro! Keep it up!
Do you have a vid showing how this might sound?
This video has one attached to my Indy whip. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hoqayc6ij7XRds4.htmlfeature=shared
@@rustybullwhips2084 thank you!
Hey Rusty, I had a question hope you could answer. I recently recently purchased a whip from. Paul Nolan. was trying to get an ETA from him to see how long it would take, but he hasn’t got back to me. Do you own any of his whips and do you know how long it generally takes? also wanted to know if there are vendors selling whips at the Indiana Jones gatherings?
Hi! Thanks for asking! I don’t own any Paul Nolan whips right now so I don’t know for certain about wait times. As for vendors, Issac Eliason of Eliason Whip Co does have nylon whips for sale whenever we have an Indy meetup.
😮
Awesome 👍
Hey Rusty, enjoy your content. I have two questions. We all know the David Morgan Bull whips are the holy Grail of bullwhips, but in your opinion who comes in second. do you know of any gatherings in San Diego?
Hi! Thanks for asking. The only Indy gathering I know of is maybe at San Diego Comic Con in July. Sometimes a group of Indys like to meetup there.
Second for a good whip aside from a David Morgan would probably be a Midwestwhips 1936 Indy made by Paul Nolan.
Thank you for the quick response and as I suspected the Paul Nolan thank you again. I’m gonna purchase one from him.
I’ve been working on my Indy costume and finally got it all put together 🤠
Great video Russell, thanks so much for all your support, and for your kind words! Your moves have gotten really smooth, I loved that horizontal fast figure 8 into the body wrap. I don't know if you got that from me or if you started doing that independently, but it was super clean! Since you mentioned it in the video, the accent knot is actually a 4 lead 3 bight 2 pass
Hey man. Good video, I've been looking into getting a paracord whip, and I think I'll go with this company. I do like the 10 ft Indys, although I wish the Raiders whip was a bit darker
Is this the regular or the deluxe? I've ordered a regular and want to know how it'll hold up
It is the regular. It doesn’t hold up to regular cracking. It only has a rope core inside. Purely a belt hanger prop. I wouldn’t crack it too often as I’ve heard stories of them breaking.
@@rustybullwhips2084Whats your experience with the whip been so far? I’m mainly using it as a cosplay prop for my gun belt but I’d like to crack is every once in a while.
@@Psychlych It held up fine for me. I think it’ll be fine for occassional cracking, so you should be good.
Where can you buy it?
I believe Casey is retired from making, so it would be hard to have one made. I bought this from someone else at the LA whip con. It would be easier to check facebook.
Just bought this whip off eBay, truly a work of art, Thanks!
that is the most chill horse ever.
Hello. Can u make a tutorial on how u did the trick at 0:11? :))
Thanks for your question! That trick is called the Arrowhead! Here’s a tutorial that should help you. Thanks! kzread.info/dash/bejne/mIqK0JuffafPdJs.htmlfeature=shared
Thank you man!!
Thanks Rusty !
Poland - How can I attach it to my first whip?
This reel should help. kzread.infoAjpyW_h0U8M?feature=shared
I got one of these after watching your review. Best hat I've ever had. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
You are the master bro thanks for that ❤
Outstanding so much fun!
Get back to work blud😡😡
Bro couldn’t handle not commenting a racist joke on a whipping video 💀
nah this is what they use to make people get back to work.
hope its beaver wheelchair larry
It’s rabbit fur felt.
Awesome video 🙌🏻
The Akubra Fedora Federation IV is Australia's answer to the American Fedora Temple. I have had an Akubra Federation IV in Black for a few Year's..... And Akubra used to make the Stetson Fedora under licence in the late 1960's to mid 1970's in Sydney and Melbourne Australia. It is indeed Rabbit.... Australia is the perfect breeding ground for Rabbit's
I've had my Fed IV deluxe for about 6 months now and it's quickly become my go to out and about hat! Just wonderful quality! Also totally agree with you that it really suits a DoD style bash, so that's what I gave mine!
Very eye-pleasing piece of art ! 👌🏻👍🏻
Excellent space, I love hats
What do you think of Rock Hatter? There are 2 one called Dr. Jones and Indiana Jones. It looks like they make them. What do you think
I checked it out and saw they are using Advintage Hat pictures in their website. I’d say stay away and buy from the real Advintage site. Any website that has high quality hats for a super low price could be a scam.
@rustybullwhips1567 That's what I thought, too. Thanks for the help.
Great video!!
Akubra Adventurer is a good tough hat.I've had mine for a few years and it has held up great so far.
Hello Russle. If you couldn't afford a Herbert Johnson regular Raiders rabbit pelt fedora. What would be your second option with, say, a 2 to 3 hundred dollar budget.
The akubra adventurer is a good option. Also the Akubra Federation IV Deluxe. I’d also suggest the Advintage Harrison.
@rustybullwhips1567 I've seen the Advintage Harrison, and I like it. I've heard that it will shrink significantly when wet. That's my only concern.
@@MidgardThunderThe Harrisons are great! A good hat stretcher can easily fix the shrinking problem if that happens. Make sure to dry your hat completely first though.
@rustybullwhips1567 awesome, thank you for the advice. You have a great channel. Keep up the good work.
If your hat gets wet keep it on your head until it dries and will be fine.As a matter of fact mine got saiked through but kept it on and now it fits like a glove.
Is there an Indiana Jones club in the Boston area? East coast jones!?
I haven’t heard of one yet. I’d love to see a group start up. There are plenty of Joneses everywhere!
