One of the best reviews I've seen, mate. Extremely in-depth and narrated brilliantly. 💯👌It's a decent set, although I think a few of the parts, eg. the colourful side-pouches, yellow gauntlet and those daft horns/ears on the helmet tend to give it a more toy-like appearance. I think just getting both the ESB and ROTJ versions is the best route to take, as the differences, IMO, really do warrant purchasing both figures. Overall, I slightly prefer the ESB version, but I do love the ROTJ one, especially that blaster!

Can I get your opinion on how important the washers are ? I built three of these without the washers cuz I missed that part in the video … been holding sturdy so far in the 3 months installed…
I think you need them. The aluminum is fragile. The washers distribute the force so the aluminum doesn’t tear or bend.

My frame came unassembled, do I use the short screws or long screws to assemble the frame ??

Thank you for sharing the video, but I have to ask…. How on earth do you get the side glass in? It’s a wobbly mess! I’ve spent two hours just trying to seat it and then trying to get the front bar on. I’ve never had a more frustrating install experience from such an expensive product.
Usually straddling it with it squeezed between my palms down low near the trim strip and trying to just get it started. From there, once you put the back bar on and tighten it down, it just forces it in the rest of the way.
@@Dan14thPrime Cool! I’ll give that a try on the next shelf. Just had 6 units show up and am in the process of putting them together. Got one done, and it had two shelves in it. Took a long time and don’t even have the lights in yet! Thankfully they look awesome, but I questioned my decision to buy a few times putting the first one together. Your video is really good - appreciate you helping folks like me out!
I really want this figure/statue, but I can't drop $900 on him, at least not when I already did that with another Maul figure/statue 2 yrs ago.

Found the Sam's Club variant of these for the same price at my SC the other day. Did your shelves come with metal insert couplers for the bottom and top halves to go together? The one at Sam's uses a plastic joiner and you have to have a shelf in the dead center to hold the top and bottom together. If yours is the same, and its held up all this time, that works for me. I might buy 2 and double up the shelves and do like you did and use more of the beams to reinforce it.
It’s been awhile since I assembled but yes, I do recall if you are building up/tall, you have to join the upper and lower bars with a connecting horizontal. It’s fine but restricts your ability to put the shelves more precisely where you may want.

Great review, Dan. Just checking the 1.0 version, trying to compare to the newly announced Hot Toys 2.0 armored batman. Do you still collect 1/6 figures? If so, are you gonna get the 2.0 BVS armored or regular batman? What's your thoughts about the InArt BvS Superman?
Thanks. I don’t do HTs anymore - just statues. I think InArt is the new premium standard though unfortunately they don’t have global licensing yet. The Dune figure looks really good. We have that up for PO at the store. Hopefully we’ll see more with proper US distribution through Toynami soon.
I'm pretty mad that Sideshow Studios doesn't appear to be getting this in. I've been on their RSVP since the statue was announced.
The right leg fell off of mine within an hour of opening it for the 1st time i didnt even get to transform it
I don't like the stand, not only does it look a little cheap and typical of a lot of the 20 dollar figures you see with that shiny plastic, but it's using the gold logo of the Las Vegas International/Hilton Hotel and that doesn't suit the Aloha context. I'd rather if the stand was just a removal doll stand. The stand is the only thing I don't like
This figure mp09 is what attracted me to start collecting transformers in general and master pieces as my main focus i was so very happy with it when i first bought it . But after a short time and when the issues started for me i was stressed to no end
With absolutely no exaggeration at all i dont dare even pick up my hasbro version of MP09 at all . Nevermind try moving its limbs to pose it or actually try to transform it ! These no cjance of that at all. No way no how would i think of doing that , not after the last time i picked it up and an arm fell off obviously i was a wee bit surpised so moved the 9ther arm which then also broke off. Hasbro,s quality controlat its finest
oh dear Lord-!! THS WAS A MONSTER 2 DO!!! I hav the MP-44S in 2024. And it is a SERIOUS challenge!! Had 2 walk away @least TWICE before I lost my temper & broke it-! 🥵🤬 I had the biggest problem with the LEGS!!! One front panel no longer moves, so 2 fit the legs n is a huge wrestling - for me it was, tht is.... But your Vid did help. I appreciate ya!l ...Now if only I figure out how 2 put the d@mn Matrix of Leadership in chest cavity...("...To light [my] darkest hour.."!

I have been trying to get this figure at a price a can afford. For one for $18.47 only issue is it doesn't have either blaster/weapon. I know I have a blaster he can use, but its annoying, anyone have an extra blaster or bith blasters they sell? Let me know

Hmm I hope I have enough space. I just ordered this exact case and it will be my first display case. However I have about 60 1/6th figures. I hope it will have enough space for everything, just using your figures as a reference to try and see how many I can fit into it.
