7:34:00 so i was watching this part back to see around how many snow berries we are going to need next time we do this, and i noticed that when you ate the snow berry here, your heat resistance went down from 7 mins to 2 mins, meaning it cancelled out the snow berry shake effect. i feel like the shake WAS enough, but the snow berry cancelled it out. so next time, remember to bring other foods besides the snow berry, and only use the snow berry when the heat resistance goes below 2 mins.

Just realised I didn’t set my bed im gonna spawn miles away😭. Also for clarification I created the compost bin and put a bunch of vines in it. Once the vines decompose they have a chance to spawn biomass which is used to make power cells when crafted with glass (main purpose was to create the dl44 you needed) I got the Ruby and obsidian from an imperial mining base in the desert, it appears as a cave on the map.

Dang man! It won't be too bad though because if we can make those power cells we can make a vehicle and we can come pick you up. That's perfect man, yeah, I wondered who put things in the compost bin because I know it wasn't me or Southern, great thinking ahead my friend! I did kill some imperial officers and they wield DL-44's so I was able to use those to also level up the village, we're making really good progress. We also got the lightsaber and got into an imperial base (that needed a clearance code or a lightsaber) in which we are also getting all kinds of good stuff including more ruby and obsidian.

No problem man. This year's updated version is super late, but am working on it and I'm on my final steps. I'm hoping it will be out in less than a week. Unfortunately force unleashed is not canon anymore because of what Disney did when they bought it back in 2012.

Hey man I had a lot of fun. I understand if next stream you don’t want to have people join because of the trouble some people caused (if there will be a next stream). When I asked if I could join I didn’t realize you wanted this playthrough to be a “solo” play through, so my apologies for that. I personally think that whenever you can, you should play other survival games, like maybe Raft, Minecraft, etc (if you are interested, of course. I know you’ve already got quite a lot of games on your plate so I don’t expect that to happen anytime soon, if you do want to do that. But if you do end up playing those, I bet it would be blast).

I really do appreciate the feedback because I know this is a different type/pacing of game with not the most amount of action at least right now, and I wasn't sure how many people really enjoyed watching compared to other games so I'm so glad you had fun and appreciate you telling me! I honestly just had so much fun yesterday. So much so that I even wanted to stream it again today but I just have to spend the time working on videos. Oh, and no need to apologize Southern, when I was bringing up those examples and stuff that definitely was not to you so just ignore that. (It was just some of the new people or just one of the newbies. I think you were gone during a particular part but someone was also purposefully destroying things as well as just a couple of other little things that was annoying). I did originally make the world with an idea in mind to a certain extent (like a singular objective that all of us could work together to build), but not necessarily solo (just because I would totally have Sparty and Sam, etc., to come in the world). I just said yes to everyone yesterday because I was okay with it. Those things that happened and even worse things crossed my mind, but I was still cool with it because if bad or annoying things started to happen I would have control over specific things sometimes because if something does go wrong like the guy destroying things I can fix it by kicking him. In other words, I don't want you to think that any of that was directed towards you because I loved having you guys there playing in the world with me! I just had to set the record straight for those newbies who don't know me or the channel otherwise they don't know what's okay and what's not. It's nothing bad, I just had to let people know like hey, you see me doing something, don't make it a freaking challenge for me to do anything in the game, lol. Anyways, I'm going to be streaming this on Friday and inviting you guys again. Here's the concept I'm going to lay out though, this world will be for myself and G-Force members/people I trust with a common objective in mind, and then I'll make a separate world for our entire community including newbies and other I don't trust yet which will have multiple different agendas and that's okay. That way we're all on the same page because I think that's what was happening yesterday. Where some of us had a common objective while others had their own plans and doing anything to make that happen. The world I made just has a singular/common objective if that makes sense. (It will probably make more sense when I explain it on stream) I also love survival games so I definitely see that stuff in the future but if it's not Star Wars of course it will be on the other channel as you know. I actually streamed one survival game with Sparty a long time ago on GPG called Conan Exiles, so in other words I'm definitely down for that at some point!

Had a really fun time yesterday Gray. Dying a gazzilion times in the desert was brutal but got some decent loot out of it. I don’t wanna put others down but I would say only let people you trust in your game rather than new viewers who just joined the streams.

I really didn't know much people enjoyed the stream overall because it is a different of pacing/type of game, so I appreciate your feedback! lol, true that, I feel you. I 100% agree and that's not putting them down. It's just difficult when some people have a common objective and are on the same page while others are have something else in mind (especially if we're sharing materials). That's how I'm going to run the next stream like with people I trust only in that world and then I can create another world for everyone.

You can get 100% either one. The only differences are the DLC characters which are ultimately skins. If you want those then you have to pay extra for them. It really depends on what you want, but personally I wouldn't do it and I didn't. Hope this helps.

That could be so many things, but it shouldn't have any relation to the mod process working in general, the fact that you got it working is great. Although, game crashes are an entire other issue. I would try running your game as an administrator to see if that simple fix will help.

Honestly, when it comes to KZread my other Gray Tech channel with have more specifics and stuff when I get my series going on that but nothing will get you as far as your passion for it. Just do what you love and if you haven't found it yet keep trying new things and teach yourself to love learning and making lists. I know that stuff is pretty vague, but there's only so much I can really explain in a comment like this. Videos on my Gray Tech channel will give more specifics and ways to use such applications. Ok so, dueling has come a long LONG WAY from this and if youre playing in 2024 and id say dont take much/any of this as really good advice, get that from really good duelists.

Nothing in this game has been touched since before this video was published. Yeah, I don't go over all the exposing glitches and broken moves that rely on the bad hit detection or do the things the game isn't designed to do because good players don't need to use that stuff to win. Those good players can win the way the game was designed rather than cheating. Plus, this is for people that "suck"/beginners like it says in the title. "dueling has come a long LONG WAY" It hasn't been touched dude, where have you been? Why don't you give a piece of advice? Are you a good duelist? This worked for me, HINTS WHY I MADE A VIDEO ON IT! @@TheGrayJedi ay for a vid that came out 3 years ago or something you do reply fast. I was just aiming to warn some beginners stumbling upon this even though thats fairly uncommon nowadays. So i do not consider myself a very good duelist, im okay but if you are part of the dueling community you‘ll realize, like i did, that there A LOT to learn and im just trying my best to catch up. Theres nothing that really struck me as completely wrong i dont remeber every second of the video its just a very baseline introduction to dueling. Also i didnt word it very gently but what i was trying to get at is that i encourage ever player to find sb that’s better than them and try to learn off them and take the advice that they give above all else. I will always appreciate peopke still make guide videos of this (sadly) dead game. Not trying to throw shade in any way. Also you can interpret yourself how „good“ i am i occasionally upload some bf2 clips on my channel if you would like. I clicked on this video because i interested me and i wanted to know more, as simple as that. But now that i look at your channel i did see you made quite alot of follow up videos which is very nice to see. I will say for a channel with only 10.5k subs you do upload very high quality videos, well done. I really wasnt expecting a reply but i hope that covers everything you asked.

Yo, I followed along with your video, but something isn't working properly. I bought swbf2 on Steam, and Frosty would not boot up the game even after I made sure it launched from steam, it would just sit there and load forever. I then tried Frostyfix, but I can't get that to work either, I even went into settings and put the swbf2 exe. file in the Installations thingy and checked the "open with frosty" box. But no matter what I did, the game wouldn't show up in the dropdown menu. I've looked online and I can't find anything that works, do you have any suggestions? I've never gotten this close to working until your video and it would really suck to give up now (I've tried this many times in the past to no avail) Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated :)

Hey, thanks for giving me some context about your situation and I would love to help! I'm sorry you're running into issues. There's a couple different things you could try right off the bat. The first thing which you may have already done but we need to make sure, you said you put the bf2 exe file in settings in frosty fix, make sure that's the application that you put in. If you did do that, uncheck that "launch game w/frosty" option and then see if you can boot up the game normally without frosty. (Like how you normally do through steam or wherever) (Just make sure you enable mods globally in frosty fix. There is a platform option that says "select platform" and a button that says "enable mods globally".) If that didn't work make sure you added the bf2 application under custom game in the frosty fix settings and not under the frosty installation. Chances are you won't have to have anything under frosty installation. If you accidently put something there, that's okay, just check the box at the bottom that says reset settings and add bf2 application as a custom game. At that point bf2 should be in the drop down menu at the very least. If not and it's still not working, let me know and I'll give you some more steps. Hope this helps and hope you have a great day!

@@AlmondMilker47 That's good, so I'd try pressing the launch button on the frosty mod manager (not for it to boot up but for it to load all those mods) and then go to frosty fix make sure you select bf2, enable mods globally and then boot up the game how you normally do to see if you see the mods. If you don't see the mods but it's booting up still like before that means that it's not registering you loading those mods in the frosty mod manager. At that point, I would try restarting your PC and try that process again. If that still doesn't work please tell me the platform you have on frosty mod manager, I think you told me you had it on steam, if that's the case try changing it to EA desktop and then reloading the mods in frosty mod manager and just redo that same process to see if that works. If not you'll probably have to link the frosty fix installation settings with frosty but I really don't think you'll need to do that. Frosty fix is supposed to work for when the frosty mod manager isn't working, but for most people that have steam the frosty mod manger ends up working without frosty fix. Let me know if any of this works and if it doesn't try launching it through the frosty mod manager (without frosty fix) and tell me exactly what's happening after you press launch.

It is a story game and you don't need the deluxe. The deluxe is only for people that want some extra skins, and are not necessary. Hope this helps.

7:34:00 so i was watching this part back to see around how many snow berries we are going to need next time we do this, and i noticed that when you ate the snow berry here, your heat resistance went down from 7 mins to 2 mins, meaning it cancelled out the snow berry shake effect. i feel like the shake WAS enough, but the snow berry cancelled it out. so next time, remember to bring other foods besides the snow berry, and only use the snow berry when the heat resistance goes below 2 mins.

Just realised I didn’t set my bed im gonna spawn miles away😭. Also for clarification I created the compost bin and put a bunch of vines in it. Once the vines decompose they have a chance to spawn biomass which is used to make power cells when crafted with glass (main purpose was to create the dl44 you needed) I got the Ruby and obsidian from an imperial mining base in the desert, it appears as a cave on the map.
Dang man! It won't be too bad though because if we can make those power cells we can make a vehicle and we can come pick you up. That's perfect man, yeah, I wondered who put things in the compost bin because I know it wasn't me or Southern, great thinking ahead my friend! I did kill some imperial officers and they wield DL-44's so I was able to use those to also level up the village, we're making really good progress. We also got the lightsaber and got into an imperial base (that needed a clearance code or a lightsaber) in which we are also getting all kinds of good stuff including more ruby and obsidian.

No problem man. This year's updated version is super late, but am working on it and I'm on my final steps. I'm hoping it will be out in less than a week. Unfortunately force unleashed is not canon anymore because of what Disney did when they bought it back in 2012.

Hey man I had a lot of fun. I understand if next stream you don’t want to have people join because of the trouble some people caused (if there will be a next stream). When I asked if I could join I didn’t realize you wanted this playthrough to be a “solo” play through, so my apologies for that. I personally think that whenever you can, you should play other survival games, like maybe Raft, Minecraft, etc (if you are interested, of course. I know you’ve already got quite a lot of games on your plate so I don’t expect that to happen anytime soon, if you do want to do that. But if you do end up playing those, I bet it would be blast).

I really do appreciate the feedback because I know this is a different type/pacing of game with not the most amount of action at least right now, and I wasn't sure how many people really enjoyed watching compared to other games so I'm so glad you had fun and appreciate you telling me! I honestly just had so much fun yesterday. So much so that I even wanted to stream it again today but I just have to spend the time working on videos. Oh, and no need to apologize Southern, when I was bringing up those examples and stuff that definitely was not to you so just ignore that. (It was just some of the new people or just one of the newbies. I think you were gone during a particular part but someone was also purposefully destroying things as well as just a couple of other little things that was annoying). I did originally make the world with an idea in mind to a certain extent (like a singular objective that all of us could work together to build), but not necessarily solo (just because I would totally have Sparty and Sam, etc., to come in the world). I just said yes to everyone yesterday because I was okay with it. Those things that happened and even worse things crossed my mind, but I was still cool with it because if bad or annoying things started to happen I would have control over specific things sometimes because if something does go wrong like the guy destroying things I can fix it by kicking him. In other words, I don't want you to think that any of that was directed towards you because I loved having you guys there playing in the world with me! I just had to set the record straight for those newbies who don't know me or the channel otherwise they don't know what's okay and what's not. It's nothing bad, I just had to let people know like hey, you see me doing something, don't make it a freaking challenge for me to do anything in the game, lol. Anyways, I'm going to be streaming this on Friday and inviting you guys again. Here's the concept I'm going to lay out though, this world will be for myself and G-Force members/people I trust with a common objective in mind, and then I'll make a separate world for our entire community including newbies and other I don't trust yet which will have multiple different agendas and that's okay. That way we're all on the same page because I think that's what was happening yesterday. Where some of us had a common objective while others had their own plans and doing anything to make that happen. The world I made just has a singular/common objective if that makes sense. (It will probably make more sense when I explain it on stream) I also love survival games so I definitely see that stuff in the future but if it's not Star Wars of course it will be on the other channel as you know. I actually streamed one survival game with Sparty a long time ago on GPG called Conan Exiles, so in other words I'm definitely down for that at some point!

Had a really fun time yesterday Gray. Dying a gazzilion times in the desert was brutal but got some decent loot out of it. I don’t wanna put others down but I would say only let people you trust in your game rather than new viewers who just joined the streams.

You can get 100% either one. The only differences are the DLC characters which are ultimately skins. If you want those then you have to pay extra for them. It really depends on what you want, but personally I wouldn't do it and I didn't. Hope this helps.

That could be so many things, but it shouldn't have any relation to the mod process working in general, the fact that you got it working is great. Although, game crashes are an entire other issue. I would try running your game as an administrator to see if that simple fix will help.

Ok so, dueling has come a long LONG WAY from this and if youre playing in 2024 and id say dont take much/any of this as really good advice, get that from really good duelists.

Nothing in this game has been touched since before this video was published. Yeah, I don't go over all the exposing glitches and broken moves that rely on the bad hit detection or do the things the game isn't designed to do because good players don't need to use that stuff to win. Those good players can win the way the game was designed rather than cheating. Plus, this is for people that "suck"/beginners like it says in the title. So i do not consider myself a very good duelist, im okay but if you are part of the dueling community you‘ll realize, like i did, that there A LOT to learn and im just trying my best to catch up. Theres nothing that really struck me as completely wrong i dont remeber every second of the video its just a very baseline introduction to dueling. Also i didnt word it very gently but what i was trying to get at is that i encourage ever player to find sb that’s better than them and try to learn off them and take the advice that they give above all else. I will always appreciate peopke still make guide videos of this (sadly) dead game. Not trying to throw shade in any way. I clicked on this video because i interested me and i wanted to know more, as simple as that. But now that i look at your channel i did see you made quite alot of follow up videos which is very nice to see. Yo, I followed along with your video, but something isn't working properly. I bought swbf2 on Steam, and Frosty would not boot up the game even after I made sure it launched from steam, it would just sit there and load forever. I then tried Frostyfix, but I can't get that to work either, I even went into settings and put the swbf2 exe. file in the Installations thingy and checked the "open with frosty" box. But no matter what I did, the game wouldn't show up in the dropdown menu. I've looked online and I can't find anything that works, do you have any suggestions? I've never gotten this close to working until your video and it would really suck to give up now (I've tried this many times in the past to no avail) Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated :)
Hey, thanks for giving me some context about your situation and I would love to help! I'm sorry you're running into issues. There's a couple different things you could try right off the bat. The first thing which you may have already done but we need to make sure, you said you put the bf2 exe file in settings in frosty fix, make sure that's the application that you put in. If you did do that, uncheck that "launch game w/frosty" option and then see if you can boot up the game normally without frosty. (Like how you normally do through steam or wherever) (Just make sure you enable mods globally in frosty fix. There is a platform option that says "select platform" and a button that says "enable mods globally".) If that didn't work make sure you added the bf2 application under custom game in the frosty fix settings and not under the frosty installation. Chances are you won't have to have anything under frosty installation. If you accidently put something there, that's okay, just check the box at the bottom that says reset settings and add bf2 application as a custom game. At that point bf2 should be in the drop down menu at the very least. If not and it's still not working, let me know and I'll give you some more steps. Hope this helps and hope you have a great day!
@@TheGrayJedi Thanks for getting back to me! I tried all of what you said, and the game did pop up in the menu when I put the exe in custom games. I enabled mods globally and booted it up from steam, but none of the mods were on.

@@AlmondMilker47 That's good, so I'd try pressing the launch button on the frosty mod manager (not for it to boot up but for it to load all those mods) and then go to frosty fix make sure you select bf2, enable mods globally and then boot up the game how you normally do to see if you see the mods. If you don't see the mods but it's booting up still like before that means that it's not registering you loading those mods in the frosty mod manager. At that point, I would try restarting your PC and try that process again. If that still doesn't work please tell me the platform you have on frosty mod manager, I think you told me you had it on steam, if that's the case try changing it to EA desktop and then reloading the mods in frosty mod manager and just redo that same process to see if that works. If not you'll probably have to link the frosty fix installation settings with frosty but I really don't think you'll need to do that. Frosty fix is supposed to work for when the frosty mod manager isn't working, but for most people that have steam the frosty mod manger ends up working without frosty fix. Let me know if any of this works and if it doesn't try launching it through the frosty mod manager (without frosty fix) and tell me exactly what's happening after you press launch.
