Good video
My land lord changed our heating and cooling system to this from radiator heat I hate it my bill is crazy in the winter and my house is still cold
Could I use one cassette in ceiling of upstairs hallway to cover 3 bedrooms? Obviously with doors open.
Great video! Thanks!! Is there any problem with the long condensate lines in the basement? Do they drain fine?
#1 I just had wind free installed in bedrooms. They seem really large though. Could I have gotten smaller ones. #2 How do I take that large label on the side of the ac off? A bit ugly and large thanks
Um, Aaa, Um, Aa, Um, Aaa. Didn't hear anything he was Um, talking, Um about. Um..
will cleaning the filters fix a rattling noise it’s making?
How do you get fresh air into the home to avoid sick air build up with no ERV?
Ti O😅 oye por loooo😊😊6:55 l
Thank you!!!!!
im just a girl, thanks lol
Where did the line sets come into the girls' bedroom since the floor unit was on an interior wall?
These things are garbage… I have been sitting here in sweltering heat(for Washington) and I literally cannot get it to kick on. Followed every direction. These things suck
I have watched this several times, I'm completely confused. It's hot and I can't figure this thing out.
ty for the help! :)
Thank you very much! I lost my remote and wish to buy universal remote. Do you know if there is such a thing, and how can I verify that it will work with mine? any specific recommendation? Thanks again
you seem so grounded and kind. Thank you honey.
this ac unit is the biggest piece of shit
I bought a house with this system. Unfortunately there wasn’t an instruction book. They told me it was just an a/c unit. Now I find out that it heats as well and how to operate it. Thank you!!!!
I just want it to start working …. Nothing works … the timer keeps flashing and that’s it
I dont like the switch plates, im out
Does Daikin have a thermostat for the mini split?
Does it work in dry heat weather?
If you have more then one unit in your house they must all be on the same heat or cool setting for air to blow out. Took me hours to figure this out
Why not have the readout on the head like all the others?
This unit is soooo annoying!
Thanks for the video. This house is quite big, and I was wondering how you could run the lineset from the outdoor unit through the basement to each of the indoor heads without exceeding the maximum allowable pipe length of the system. Does the indoor head condensate drain through gravity or a mini pump?
My remote has way fewer buttons. 😢
my remote is not the same as yours. my unit is brand new, first use today. still don't know how to keep the room cool, not cold and not have it run nonstop. where to get that info? So far no one can tell me and the manual does not explain well.
It's best not to install the unit in direct sunlight or near other heat sources. This will impact the mini split's ability to monitor indoor temperatures and perform efficiently.
Installed right there where the sun hits them.why?
What about the small filter?
Good video, thanks for the information!
I found out the hard way about cleaning these after two years in an apartment where the landlord never told me about maintenance for this. Not until they waterfalled liquid onto my laptop, docking station and monitors.
Please excuse my sons picture lol curios as to how much noise these make inside/outside the home and if they heat your home as efficiently as the old baseboards. Right now I love how quickly my home gets warm but am definitely considering switching. I have vaulted ceilings and am worried at how well it works to heat the room if they were installed high up.
Bro! Saved my life and my sleep!! 😅
How much did this project cost?
Much needed video! Thank you!
Thank you. This video is very helpful.
Thanks for this!
Run the lines behind the drywall and not up the exterior wall. That makes it look like such a cheap install.
the video was too quick, short, and does not reflect the title.
What size minisplit would you put in a 288 sq ft tinyhouse with a vaulted ceiling in Texas?
what drives me stupid crazy about Daikin, is they don't show the temperature of the room on the remote. It should show the room temp by default on the display. Say I walk in and it's just a little cold and I want it 3 degrees warmer..there is no way to know this, you just have to turn it on to 70, and if it's too hot..turn it down to 65, it's a huge oversight in my book. I love Daikin, but their systems software needs to join the 20th century.
Manufacturer's instructions say not to splice the cables, yet you have switches on every indoor unit. Big no no. Local inspectors are dykks.
The switches were code for years here in NH. Luckily they changed it going forward so they are no longer required.
I noticed there's only 1 of those black rectangular smaller filters but those bigger filters have a spot for 1 on each so I'm just wondering should I contact my property manager it's a new building?
By the black rectangular filter I mean the air freshening filter (plasma) should I have 2 or 1? Thanks
This fellow has very interesting mannerisms. Thanks for the video.
he gets paid for it.
Awesome video I'm in southern NH and debating what direction I should go with mini split or installing ducting
Let us know if we can help! We are located in Derry.
Great looking install!
What's up with those switches?
