  Amazing cover, i would check out Illapa a very obscure band that are very talented there song Lascivo Culto Solar is a good song, sadly there that obscure most off there stuff is impossible to find as there CD's where very limited and they have nothing for sale on digital stores.

  Dude thank you so much for checking it out! It’s a tough one to nail 100% so I just did my own interpretation. Dirk played it very loose and with a ton of feel and it’s hard to capture.

  @@bassyboii Absolutely. It's a great song to practice feel. The little slap solo towards the middle is very tricky to get right without sounding stilted since the last part is made up of these weird, swung triplets. Definitely satisfying to nail, though

  I don't even remember if the star hammer pattern on my mega bell z swirled like that, I hit it with the angle grinder so fast to get some of the dull thud out of it. What happened to the markings on yours? Did you get rid of them?

  They made 2 series of them. The older ones had the star pattern, which I had one and it was pretty dull and boring. This version has a more traditional hammer shape and sounds so much better.
