During the skills lab, our instructors observe without immediate intervention, allowing students to learn through practice. They then provide feedback to create improvement.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you noticed the bare hand passing a sponge forcep and that it breaks aseptic technique! It takes great attention to detail to ensure all OR team members are following aseptic technique at all times. Our students are simulating surgical procedures in a mock lab environment while still learning skills and techniques to be proficient as practicing surgical technologist.
