Horton, OR was originally the site of my great grandfathers lumber mill and logging operation back in the late 1800's. He ran it for several years with his older boys which were my grandmothers older brothers. They got their lumber and logs to the railhead in Junction City by the "High Pass Road" which was the summer snow-free and shorter route with the "Low Pass Road" being longer but usually more snow-free in winter. And, I believe, the "High Pass" was the route of the controversial "Wooden Railroad". I have pictures of the Hortons pulling giant Doug Fir logs out of the woods with teams of oxen! I have only been by Horton once and I need to go back again and just "poke around". And I need to go to Hult Res as I have never been there. A good days outing from my home in Coos Bay.

We got to see each other once a year. Were 55 now and live in nv. I am so close to her. At 32 I found our dad and brother. Then after a year we got to meet the rest of our family.

It’s really an amazing and selfless thing to do for a person who stepped up to help his Neice and Nephew. Then there’s what happens after the cameras are gone……Eric Hebert lost the home due to taxes, utilities and loans against the house, after losing his job. First 250k loan and then 360k loan and he couldn’t keep up the payments. He tried to sell the home but the housing market collapsed and the bank foreclosed on the house. It is said Eric moved back to Montana with the twins and from there no one knows anything about what the future held for them.
