I feel single packs hold a higher probability of a good pull but are more expensive. They’re going to regulate the pull rates from a single box where as single packs, you can pick from multiple boxes. Be random to win random.

At least pre S&V, booster boxes have guaranteed pull rates. Even if the packs are a little more expensive, if you are chasing a card it might still be cheaper to rip from boosters. If you have to open more packs to chase cards is it really cheaper is what I am trying to say.

Hey love your videos but have to highly disagree about BB being dumb now while i understand that the other products are on the cheaper side of the BB you also have to take into consideration that the BB has some kind of guarantee hit inside while all the other products do not including ETB boxes i guess if your looking for just to open then yes but if to invest in long term BB are the safest bet but thats my opinion

Tis is why BB will be king, because the RNG has guaratee hits. older set not that much, but newer have quite a constant 11-14 hits with 1 Alternate usually.

@@ktcardz I agree on the cost per pack, but that’s when you are thinking of opening. After some time it makes more sense to buy 5 etbs than a BB if you really want to open packs. Silver tempest etc at 30 means 150-160 for 40 packs. So I agree on that point in “cost of opportunity” but BB will have at least some guarantee, so those you save for later ^_^

I guess it depends on your goals. When the boxes are close to msrp and you're trying to complete the whole set I think it makes sense to rip a box or two. But if you're ripping for the chase then you're just addicted to gambling and like to watch money burn. Buying singles and/or keeping stuff sealed is the only way.

My theory is that as box breakers slowly open and trickle out the massive amounts of sword and shield stacked in thousands of peoples closets, these cards will take a bit before they truly start rising. There will obviously be huge demand for them, but most people are always on the latest hype.

It's a promo card that comes in a box set which is why it's so low, not as rare because more are out there since it was more so mass produced/easier to get instead of having to pull it from a pack. But it's such a beautiful awesome card, we got lucky to get A LOT of tag team alt arts as promos making it more affordable to get, the Japanese versions you have to actually pull them from packs, we got them in tins and box sets, the tag team glass art bird trio card came as a promo in hidden fates 🙌 Mew and Mewtwo tag team alt art came out in a tin, wish I was collecting when they all first came out! 😅 Would be cool to buy the box sets and tins from the store and get tag team packs along with the crazy awesome alt art promo for retail price ☝️😅 Or just to have for the sealed collection or even for a cool display.💯
