Honestly I hate it here. I moved to sk from the US about 2 months ago and people look like me like I’m some monster or animal, don’t get me started with my large black dog I bought with me. Went through such a heartache for gen Z to boomers looking and talking 💩 about my dog without 0 shame, they don’t even have the audacity to keep it to themselves and say it out loud after I pass by, they have to say it right on my face. Ps: I’m Korean but was born in the US and i can’t wait to by my one way ticket back to the US and never touch my feet here in this land

Not going to sugarcoat it, but the reason why Korea and Japan are so safe is because drugs and guns are prohibited, and they keep immigration tightly controlled.

When I have to work in South Korea, if it's a 2 man installation I would most likely have a Korean colleague and even though I'm fluent speaking Korean the client tends to ignore me instead interacting with my colleague. There has also been places where a client gives me a NDA to sign and not my colleague and then share insults with there manager, even watching me like I'm there to steal things. Other things have happened too like refused entry to a club with the excuse trouble happened the night before with foreigners so management is refusing entry to foreigners and then told I'm banned even though it's my first time there, elderly openly saying slurs and discussing why I'm in Korea and at the same time debating what part of Africa I'm from, got kicked out of a cafe because a woman was scared and I never looked or interacted with her, getting arrested for preventing a Korean guy dragging is Korean partner through the street,taxi drivers trying to scam before I eventually switched to a app . Probably the most annoying thing that happens a lot is random Korean's asking if I can take a picture with them mainly due to me been 201cm tall then some ask to touch my hair and a few times I've had racist slurs aimed at me when doing this which I ignore because the law doesn't work in my favour in South Korea. So from my own experience it's a mix bag

I am half-Chinese and half-caucasian (American). Someone once asked me where I felt the most at home. I said in America and he responded -- really? I never felt completely at home anywhere after that. There was always something different about me no matter where I am -- either in Asia or in America. But I think that I have the best of both worlds.

Very informative. I think all these follies and whims they sticking to are due to the fact that Korea is actually a Third World country that has made enormous efforts to overcome this status. People work so hard but do not participate adequately in the economic prosperity. What is astounding is that they have created a huge business opportunity with all this trendy K- whatsoever products, and have managed to make the world believe they are the most beautiful people on earth whilst the opposite is true. I met a lot of Koreans, and they were all so ugly, with nasty manners, and so egotistical - that was at the university. Yep, Korea is a phenomenon in every respect. Why would someone want to live there? I don't get it.

여자친구분 썸네일 한효주인줄 알았습니다. 한국에 오지 말아야할 이유 5가지 동영상보고 남기는데요, 그 동영상은 숨길것이 아니라 it should go viral cause you are telling but mothing but truth. 규칙같은거 잘 모르는척해도 넘어갈수도 있고요, 백인들 대체로 대접잘받는거도 사실(if you understand Koreans and their mindsets about hierarchy, when a westerner says I am from for instance USA, or UK, or France, and I am white as you see!! Then you get some respect immediately. I am not saying it is a right thing to do. It is just the way it is.) I appreciate your honest videos and I hope you stay safe and wish you well

Question 8:17 if you go to the bathroom and you have to pee or poop, are you allowed to flush toilet and if you wipe your bottom, you throw it in a trashcan, but want to be stinky in there if you do that I feel like that’s unsanitary
@bananatree12345676 ай бұрын
I've been to Korea about 10 times in my life and have never encountered a toilet where I couldn't simply throw the paper into the toilet. That being said, I've always traveled and have thus probably never seen an "old style house" that still uses an ancient sewage system. I think his tip about toilet paper is mostly useful for people that are going to live there (and maybe living in such an older house) and not so much for travellers.
