My name is Jennifer Thomas, I'm an American composer, musician, and performer. My specialty instrument is the piano (classically trained, but not in the strict classical world anymore), but I also sometimes play the violin in my music too. I consider myself an "albumist" with 6.75 studio albums out (7th coming late 2023).
I'm not just passionate about music though - I love nature, I love storytelling through music and visuals. I love to create visual content that evokes emotion and inspiration in people. I live in the Pacific Northwest in Washington state and I love to show the beautiful landscape here in my videos.

It is so hard to come up with a certain mood in cinematography that will project your idea, however vivid it happens in your mind. Reproducing that state of mind in images that can be seen by other people is like doing magic. Also, the way you cut this video is brilliant, explaining how things work and how they don't, bringing us back to the reality of actual filming and the struggle of composing and recording the music behind all this magic. I started playing this album on Apple Music and it took me hours to get past Underwater Carnival Ride. It is so captivating! I was mesmerized. I had my own dark night of the soul experience were I felt deep hopelesses. I was living my worst nightmare and there was so much fear and anxiety. I have learned since then that God never abandoned me, that He was always there, even when I was struggling so greatly. He knew I needed to accept the trial, rather than try to change it or have it all go away. I now look back and there was so much good that came from that terrifying experience. I learned to put my trust in the Lord, more than I even had before, and He came through for me. I grew spiritually and blessings happened in my life that were significant and evidence of a loving God who makes up for the pain we experience. I also learned for myself and had the opportunity to show the Lord that I would not turn away from Him, no matter how hard or how long the night might last. He isn't just our beacon of light and hope, He is in the boat with us as we struggle to stay afloat. Beautiful music as always Jennifer, you are incredibly talented and your music is powerful.
