  Great Video, I have some questions as someone that wants to get into All-Grain. 1. What fridge with temp controller is that? 2. Do you use/need a sparge tank?

  he does not need the sparge tank as the basket with the grains serves as the sparge. He just did not show his sparging. You just heat up the water on the stove or how ever you want and then pour the water over the grains to sparge. (there is a screen that goes on the top of the grains to even out the sparging.). I have a Grainfather, which is very much the same as the brewzilla.

  Got so tired of wrenching i bought a Prado 120 instead. I put in a stiffer pipe and cleaned the radiator cap

  Im learning as much as possible before I start buying some equipment. These fermzilla's look like they are they way forward. Couple questions if you dont mind, i would be starting out with extract kits, probably coopers ad they seem to have a good reputation, Would the fermzilla be ok for them? Would pressue fermentation in the fermzilla reduce the overall brewing time of the kits? Is temperature an important factor still?

  So for cooling you use that little fan inside of your frige? Nothing else? Or fridge is also cooling? If so How did you connect your fridge with STC-1000 unit? Thanks

  Great video. I just got the 55 liter myself. I will be serving directly from the fermzilla. No transfer to kegs or bottles. Should I remove most of the trub shortly after the cold crash? Will trub add unwanted flavors to the beer over time, or does it not matter if its sitting in the bottom of the fermzilla? (The "collection cup" on the new model is only 600ml, so I guess I would have to do it multiple times in order to remove all of it.)

  I served directly for a long time, i didn’t have a problem. Bottles and kegs is a luxury, if you so have to take some with you in a soda bottle just cool the beer in fermzilla to 1.5°-2° celcuis so the beer retain the co2. Dont overthink the trub.. let it rest in peace and enjoy whats above.

  Hi, mine does this all the time. It has a mapped ECU, new loom, new wastegate and MAF sensor, every time it goes up the hill it cuts halfway through and starts to smoke a lot for a few seconds, it gets almost like into limp mode and it picks up again when you reach the top. In the city, it pulls really good and is quite fast. Any ideas?

  Looks like he rewired the fridge to use an STC-1000. I've just done the same thing myself. It's not too tricky as long as you can find a way to get live and neutral to the thermostat housing. I had to bypass the fridge door switch to get neutral there.

  Did you ever get thos plans made I see mentioned in the comments? Do you have two inner pipes plus the large diameter one? I can't tell if the two pipes showed at the beginning stayed in place or if it was a prototype stage that got redone with just an inner chimney and the outer jacket. If it stayed what was the purpose of the second inner layer?
