I had a problem. Well, I have many, regardless, I had the problem (still do) of finding honest reviews of all the cool lifestyle products out there. Company's websites display only 5-star reviews and they'll send "influencers" free stuff in exchange for 5-star reviews on Amazon.
I could rarely find detailed reviews of the stuff I wanted to buy.
So, what have I done and continue to do? I buy the stuff I want, try it out, and return the stuff I don't want.
Then I had a genius idea: why not share my often overly meticulous attention to detail with the world?!
Seriously, I'm picky about shit, especially when I pay a pretty penny for "premium".
I have thoroughly vetted every single product I bring to this channel. I keep it chill and stick with reviewing stuff that I use and value.

I think it’s great you guys do the various tests including the squat. Love getting a sense of the materials and how they move, breathe and constrict around the vitals/money maker. One query for your short and trouser reviews: maybe you could add in a “sit” test? So often I find myself thinking I’ve bought a great pair of trousers when standing and moving about only to sit down in them at work for hours on end and have them ride up and cling to my thighs and just feel way less relaxed than hoped. It’s to be expected to a degree…sitting will do that but good to get a sense of this aspect given how much time we sit in our trousers. And no baggy cargos or parachute pants are not the answer to this riddle.
Lol, shoot me if we ever review cargos 😅. Love the idea of a sit test and will do that next bc yes that sit to stand is crucial, and its annoying as hell to have to pull down your shorts every time! Great feedback my man!
Aight-I'll accept your desperate plea and comment. Online these have odd sizings-the waist jumps from a 30 in a small to a 32 in a Medium and then just nudges one inch to 33-34 in large. Typically I'm 32, esp for elasticated waist, but depends on the fit/manufacturer. Being 6'1, 185-ish, with an athletic (but not overly large) build I worry that if I go for my typical waist of 32, my plump thighs and cul rond, as the French would call it, might make this beauty too tight. I need airflow and comfort. Does a man stay true to his waist or size up for that juicy lower half? Love the content. Do some reviews of linen wear for the man with bulkier arms. Summer isn't so breathable when the typical high-street linen shirts chafe the armpits and are too tight for that classic rolled-up sleeve look
See if you’ll do anything for it, desperation works 😅. So, literally wearing them right meow as it got chilly here in MI after all the rain. Im similar build as you with thunder thighs. Def go Large. They fit great where it’s not painting the thighs. I only have to use the drawstring if Ive got a ton of crap in my pockets. If someone sends me a linen shirt Ill review it. However, that would pretty much be anything sent to me. Don’t love linen as it wrinkles so damn easily but is a quintessential summer fabric.

I really want to find that versatile jogger that can be used for walking the dog, getting brunch or long-haul flights/travel. I run hot, so I only ever workout in shorts.

I get the appeal of Velcro. You’re on the move and want to throw something in your back pocket,; it’s easy. Meanwhile with buttons or zippers you gotta stop, turn back and fidget with the zipper or the loop of fabric around the button. But then I remember I’m a 38 y/o and that means life isn’t always easy. Btw went complete ham on the chubbies $40 short sale. My buddy at work walked by as I was ordering, i told him about the deal and then he got two. He was all “I’ll leave the 5.5 inch inseam to you” and got the 7 inch. Today at work he told me they’re good but he should have listened and got 5.5 LOL

Nice video guys! Only suggestion would be if you guys could do a height and weight of each one of you to get an idea of the fit. I’ve purchased fresh clean Threads, true classics and WYR and I find them to all be great but some run shorter than others. Would you say Bearbottoms compare to any of those brands?
Great suggestion! Were both pretty similar: 6’ 0” 190# and 5’ 11” 185#. Ive tried Fresh Clean Threads and would say the fit is a little more fitted. IMO you’re just going to get size variations depending on the manufacturing run. I bought a super expensive T from Huckberry and the fit was different than the same T I had bought a year earlier. I thought it was mislabeled. They explained this whole thing about differences manufacturing runs (batches).

Looking forward to getting a couple of the 4th of july American themed versions and had to ask - I like my polos to be more fitted - I am currently 5'11.5'' and weight 200 LBS athletic 34'' waist - Would the Medium be the better choice? Love that you love it. We love you. You’re about my size so I would def go for Medium if you want fitted. Only downfall is if you have pythons for arms the sleeves will ride up (but maybe you want that 💪). The large will be way too baggy for ya.

Stuff that you’re able to go from business casual, golf, brunch, etc. So many brands; Bad birdie, Ten Thousand, Mugsy, Chubbies, Johnie-O, Peter Millar, Rhoback, Travis Matthew, Sunday red by Tiger Woods. I’ve been eying Macade. Would never wear anything from Bird Dogs and wear Lulu ABC every day to work.

Looking to replace Lulu ABC joggers they’ve cheapened them and their pockets are horrible. Any comparable joggers to the ABC you’d recommend that would be versatile enough for casual office wear?
I don’t like joggers for office wear regardless 😅. However, I believe Vuori has a Fleet Jogger that has chino pockets and belt loops, so try that. Im a big fan of the Rhoback joggers. Wearing them right meow. Without underwear…sorry that got weird fast.

Well hey I think the chill and less formal approach lends itself to the appeal of your reviews, but totally understand the extra time and work to create them, even if you were just on a tripod bc you have the banter of behind-the-camera-man taken out. If you ever do try some solo stuff out tho, I think exploring "athletic-build friendly" attire outside of/in addition to athleisure might be a cool addition, like performance chinos/slacks like the Vuori Cascade tech chino and other casual shirts/bottoms that could be dressed up, as I feel like the "perfect material and fit" is very different from brand to brand. Honestly don't think you can do any wrong just being you tho, whatever you review. Take care man, Go Lions!

Some I would agree. Others I think it’s completely worth it. I have five pair of Meta pants I wear at the office 1x/wk for the last three years and theyve held up wonderfully. I would just be picky about what you buy - essentials that wont go out of style.

Best pants ever. And customer service. My 18 month old pair really stretched and never went back. I emailed them and they sent me a prepaid label to return them, then sent me a gift card in original amount I paid. It’s $10 more now but that’s no biggy. The best part after how well they fit and look are FIVE functional pockets. Like a modern slick cargo pants for people who don’t wanna look like a dad.
