  Don't you think you should say the White Sox failed to utilize the Braves strategy? Other than that little gripe, really good break down. This is the kind of content baseball fans love. I've almost completely gone away from analysis by ESPN and what not for better analysis by KZreadrs such as what we just watched.

  You have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. David Stearns is not an idiot. He will either sign Pete for a reasonable amount of money or he’ll trade him. Pete’s huge mistake was hiring Scott Boras as his agent. I love Pete but he’s 30 and shouldn’t expect an exorbitant contract. A 6yr/$180Million will get it done. If he wants more, he’ll be playing for the Cubs in 2025.

  As a pirates fan I've refused to go to games for the last few years cause the ownership is ripping us off. They don't even attempt to win and keep talent. Spend Nutting, Win Nutting..more like Nutting all over our baseball team.

  Footnote: The 2020 MLB regular season was shortened because of the Covid restrictions. Meanwhile, the playoffs were expanded to 16 MLB teams (8 in each league). So that season, more MLB teams MADE the playoffs than those that MISSED. The LA Dodgers won the World Series that postseason, but many of their players consider that a "door prize" and want to win the league championship with a FULL season. Also, swinging on a 3-ball 0-strike count should always acceptable. Does the NFL have an "unwritten rule" stating that it's "poor sportsmanship" to run on fourth-and-one in front of their opponents' goal line. Would it be better sportsmanship if the QB passes the ball, so the opposing team could have a "fair chance?"

  Dude they won the division in 2021 with La Russa, act like this guy was a failure shows the bias. La Russa even adapted to woke snowflakes like Tim Anderson. So how have the Sox done since La Russa left after 2022? I’ll give you a short answer, HORRIBLE! WORSE!! La Russa managed the Sox to their ONLY division title in 2021 since 2008, but according to agism that was a bad move lol.

  to sign a prospect with zero MLB at bats to a 43 million 6 year deal is basically the same as taking that $43 million to Vegas and betting it all on Red and hope for the best.

  Really confused why you would show Corey Seager as a player who was nickel and dimed, where the Dodger’s saved money in arbitration and he left early in the season. Surely there are better examples than a shortstop from a team that throws money everywhere. The well documented fact that Seager is a Boras client and the Dodgers despise working with Boras shoots a hole in that.
