Hey! Solid video! I have a Woodsman ordered for myself! I of course am incredibly pumped about getting it. I wanted to ask what is the cordage called that you use for your pinky lanyard?

Thank you! The pinky lanyard is made out of Paracord (550 cord) with a dymond knot at the end. I found some in the states that was a different color than the standard OD green.

I guess it was the color scheme that through me off since that coloring isnt standard (as you know). I’ve still got several months before I’ll start to expect my knife but I’m picking things up that I’ll need. I’ve got my carry system down, lanyard material, and steel sand paper. I’ll make the bearing block later down the line 😆

Well done. I have modded the romanian haversack with its original leather straps and fabbed solid brass buckles for it on a Bridgeport.. glad to know Im not the only crazy one !! Thanks Bob, I was definitely cautious cutting down the Bamboo tree. It was at least 30ft tall and I wasn't quite sure how it was going to react. Worked out fine but it's tough stuff!

Really cool. You have unbelievable knife skills. Did you have to touch up your blade after working with the bamboo? It is pretty hard, gnarly stuff to work with.

Thanks! I went into this project with just a working edge, not quite shaving and it seems to still be the same. The bamboo is pretty tough stuff though, splitting is no big deal but chopping thru is a pain.

After my Leatherman broke twice, I switched to Victorinox. I know everyone praises Leatherman's warranty but that's probably not a good thing! You don't hear much about Victorinox' warranty because their tools don't break. I have a Spirit MX Clip and SwissTool MX Clip. Love them both

I love my cup and bottle set mine came with a spoon and fork combo on opposite ends of the utensil. im totally going to cut my cup lid like yours with notches, so i can hang it with the lid on it! That was a great idea sir!
