    I have 14900 with rtx 4070 TI SUPER. I removed the radiator. It was getting hot. I replaced with AIRCOOLER. DEEPCOOL AK620. and now runs smoothly over 2 hours of playing game.

    Alienware R16 is horrible on CPU LIQUID RADIATOR,,,,, Better change with AIRCOOLER, when gaming around 60 to 80 Degree. No gaming it was around 42 to 55 Degree. After 1 hour, computer will get slow. So change with something else. I install DEEPCOOL AK620 ZERO To DARK. NOW at 30 Degree to 40 Degree. When gaming 50 to 60 Degree. Added extra Front Fan as well. That way bios will not come up. So total of 3 Extra Fans Works!

    i have this mini pc and agree that for gaming it's best left in auto mode. I also disabled turbo boost by enabling a power option via regedit, it throttles much less, doesn't affect fps that much.

    The PSU does indeed have two 8 pin connectors for the CPU. No semi modern, 1200w, PSU would come just with one auch cable.

    if you get the rtx 4060 ti the issue is the power supply for future upgrades. Dell sells them for 220. THat is all you need once you buy the rtx 4060ti on sale and buy the psu or get the rtx 4070 super version and all you need to worry about is your next cpu and your next gpu. ram is already at 32gb. Only issue is the ram upgraded must be 1.1 volts.

    That RAZR is truly disappointing - Since January users have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes. Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, awkward, not as advertised, more wear on the hinge and screen fold... since Jan '24 - still that way in June. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.

    Can you let me know if these new ones have the "always on" screen feature? I have the Razr 2023 and it doesn't have always on option which I'm hoping the 2024's do. It would be nice to have flip slightly open and sit it on a table showing always on time for example like a night stand clock without reaching over to move to wake up the screen. Thanks if you can advise.

    Motorola has never offered an always on display on any of their previous phones... What they have is peek display or wake display, the name may have changed again but it doesn't stay on but a limited time.

  • @oconnorjames
    @oconnorjamesАй бұрын

    @@RJ_Uploads I think they have changed that this time round. Since my question here I watched more vids about the 2024 Razrs and apparently has the always-on option instead of wake or peek. I guess I'll just buy and return if it doesn't.

    Honestly Dell messed up really bad by changing completely the appearance of the original Alienware. They changed what differentiated from the rest and turned these into a XPS, optilex or Precision towers If it wasn’t because of the RGB on the side, it would just be another ordinary tower.

    When AI Windows finally gets forced on us, it would be interesting to do a "cores vs cache" benchmark comparison on what will be "older" hardware by that time. I am specifically thinking of 5800X3D versus a 12 or 16 core Zen 3.

    Sadly intel can’t compete with strix at all. Even more,Battlemage dgpu wasn’t even talked about at all. It should have been beginning this year and since they didn’t even sad a word to oem‘s until today, there won’t be battlemage this year. Nobody wants intels chip in there handhelds, because they can’t compete even close to old hawk point and definitely not against strix.

    but i think lunar lake is never intended to compete against strix point. while strix point can operate at low tdp just like lunar lake but i doubt it will be more efficient than lunar lake. arrow lake is the more appropriate rival for strix point. unfortunately it will come much later in Q4
