A little about me, my name is Helina and I started my channel in February 2021. I had considered starting a channel years ago but finally plucked up the courage. I began colouring in August 2014 following a serious road traffic collision. I'm very lucky to have found so much joy in adding colour to colouring books and am confident this will be a lifelong hobby.

Thank you for doing this video. I have been trying to learn how to do backgrounds with Distress Inks. You did a good job. I like the colors you used for your picture. Question: How long does it take the ink to dry? Tfs

Honest answer, I don’t know. Life is busy and although I’m still dipping in to colouring and watercolouring but not enough to continue creating videos at the moment. X

I have had my Gelatos for so long. I have watched “how to’s” and non of them have helped me as much as yours did. Thank you so much for doing this, now I can’t wait to try mine and do a background with them. I know this is an older video, I’m just happy it’s still here 😊.

Your work is very interesting and your ability to combine multiple media is amazing. I do wish however that you had kept track of all the media you used in each picture. It becomes very frustrating to hear repeatedly "I think I did this but maybe not".

My advice, be picky. Don't give in to AI and cheap books. Focus on supporting actual artists. Try one book and if you actually color in it, buy another. You don't have to be like the book and supply hoarders. I appreciate colorists that actually color.
Good, solid tips and I definitely needed to hear your tip about not comparing my work with others! Also i have bought books that i look at now and realize I'm not interested in. I'm getting (a little) wiser. 😊

I’ve just bought this book and I’m delighted with the illustrations. Your colouring skills and imagination are truly wonderful. Thank you for mentioning your use of neocolors 2 and paint as I was nervous to attempt them in case I spoiled the paper. I do intend to finish this book now I know I can use water. I was sent this book by WOB as they messed up with Kerbie Rosannes(?) books. So pleased to receive it. Many thanks for sharing 🙏

Hi Helina, enjoy your Inktense - they are beautiful. Yes, I do all my editing on my iPad, I use Lumafusion. Before that I used iMovie, which was basic but okay. 😊
Wonderful finishes. I loved them all. Your Klara Markova pages were my favorite.
