Can a complete quilt be done like this….perhaps another video?

@@aquamarine8812 Great question! Yes all the seams can be glue basted to make a whole quilt.
@dremaklee8884Күн бұрын
@@snapdragonquilting I use Elmer's glue to baste all 3 layers together in the same way. I quilt on a domestic machine and the layers do not shift. Love glue basting😊

@@dremaklee8884 What a great way to quilt a quilt! How do you apply the glue? Do you squeeze it straight out of the bottle or use a brush or something else?
@dremaklee8884Сағат бұрын
@@snapdragonquilting I do put it in a condiment squeeze bottle from Walmart, the nozzle is smaller. I then start with backing & batting drizzling the glue, I use a soft paint brush to spread if need be. I do it in sections. It does not need to be completely covered. Then I do the front. It stays until you wash it. I do iron as I go to help dry it faster. It never gums up my needle. Hope you try it and let me know how you like it. Happy quilting!!

I just changed my blade in my Martelli cutter a couple days ago. It is quick and simple, I waited and dreaded it, and it went so well and easy! 😂. One thing I had to be careful of is to avoid over tightening it, I think I had the time before and I struggled with cutting because of that.

I love this cutter! Especially that you can buy parts kits to replace pieces yourself to keep it working it top form. I just swapped out my blade guard because the little rubber bit had gone missing. Good as new now.

@@krystalhosmer9652 I love this cutter too and that little rubber piece makes taking the safety off so quick and easy. Glad yours is back in tip top shape! 🤩

Great video. I have a kit which uses reverse applique but, I've been hesitating getting it out to start on it. I may start on it soon.

The Brother Scan & Cut and the low tack mat would make short work of cutting the parchment paper support template for this quilt project.
