How did you do it? Hook your solar stuff to regular outlets? I have a cool inverter but I just never thought to make it look like grid because I didn't know you could...if my question makes sense; I plug everything directly to the inverter...😢 So wires are everywhere 😂😂

Please follow up on the sourdough starter. I am interested to see what all the color mold is about. I started SD years ago and I don't remember colors coming threw the mix like that. Do you think it could be the flour had a problem? I live in upstate New York and we had wind and branches twist and fall from the storm that came threw before this hurricane. You have a lovely home and your children as so sweet.

I'm actually looking for property in Maine at the moment. Unfortunate, I will be doing this on my own. Can you possibly do a video on the solar equipment you used and how to hook it up? Where did youget your shed? I called a company in Central Maine and he was very negative.

How exciting!! There is a lot of good info here on KZread. We've learned a lot from DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse and many other channels. We definitely plan on sharing what we've used and how we hooked it all up very soon! And we ordered our shed from 207 Sheds 😊

Y’all will flourish ❤I’m not a expert but I would wrap the house then add additional siding on the shed. I could be wrong and probably am but seems like it would insulate the shed more, plus keep the original wood on it a whole lot less work .Good luck and God Bless

Ok so there's work to do in the cabin before the winter if you intend to sleep there, but I think like you I would also put a lttle time aside to explore the property first, then start to make the cabin more habitable, it's going to a long term new home build but you will gwt there.

Yes, water and insulation are our next steps 😊 we do have some more wiring to do before we put up the insulation, though. That's why we didn't go any further with the kitchen. We wanted to make sure that we could get to the wall to put the insulation in. And we will be using a woodstove this winter.
