To my understanding feminism was never an achievement of women's struggle, it was a poisoned gift from the capitalists, a trap for the female ego - and God, did you swallow the bait! You are now slaving for a boss in stead of serving and being served by a husband, prioritizing you children and legacy. You are now buying food, clothes and everything that women used to make themselves, which gave them satisfaction. You buy it from a sweatshop where other women work for you. The laughter at the unlucky woman in the beginning says all about what a monster modern woman has become. No heart, no compassion.

I don't know how the cmmtee concluded in choice of venue. But we have better ones than Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba. Adokie Amaka Stadium and National stadium in Lagos should have been considered.

Fake news. He is leaving everything to his son. Just ask a simple question, why wait till his death if he intends to donate to charity? He is too cheap like most Chinese to donate to charity.

General Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo has always been a detribalised patriot. In spite of the brutal Biafran war that he led against the Igbo, he has never hidden his affinity for Igbo people. He was never afraid or ashamed to identify with Igbo, even before Nigeria's independence. Even at the risk of forfeiting his presidential ambition he even honoured Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu and wrote a book - 'Nzeogwu' - as a way of immortalising him. Several of the books were burnt in the far Muslim north. Obasanjo cared less, and he progressed on to displace Dr Alexander Ekwueme, an Igbo, to become Nigerian democratic President. That shows how principled and resilient he is. He may or may not be an Igbo biologically but he is an Igbo in spirit. I guess he did all within his power and instinct to show remorse for the needless war he fought against the Igbo to keep a doomed country one. Only time will tell!

This man is an irredentist Yoruba tribalist. To him, Yoruba can't do no wrong. Unfortunately, he falls into a good segment of western Nigerians! To say that Obasanjo is an Igbo man is the most disingenuous absurdity to parade. Igbos have strong 'bantu' physical peculiarities in their features that Obasanjor doesn't possess. Look at him, he looks every inch a Yoruba man. His likeness for Igbos my sources tell me, stem from the sociology he acquired acquired from mingling with many brilliant Igbo officers who dominated the officer corp of cadet days in Nigeria and Britain as cadets. He has no genealogical predisposition with Igbos.

I am trying very hard to resist the temptation of using some kind of names for this man, but if I have a father who comes to public space to spew such blasphemies, I will disown him so I will not share from the curse coming upon him.

Great discussion right here with my former classmate Jane Mberia👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Rwanda is at the forefront in promoting gender equality. Indeed, 60% (46 out of 80) of their members of parliament are women. We need to believe that we all can….We are not yet there, but we can get there. Yes we can.
