Substack sounds way better if you make money from other products and just have a free email newsletter that funnels them to those products.

Reality: Substack is free. when you a start making money they take a small percent. Beehive is free till 2500 subs, when you pass that whether you make money or not you'll pay a lot. The actual UI's don't matter once you're used to it.

but the pricing won't exceed 1000 dollars at max per month. And, that's when you have over 100k subscribers. I still think beehiiv is better in terms of pricing as it wont exceed 2-3k per month and that's manageable than giving away 10% of my revenue.
