Accordion Love - Moshe Zuchter

Accordion Love - Moshe Zuchter

My name is Ronen (moshezuchter), and I teach people how to play the accordion.
My channel contains performance and tutorial videos of songs that I love and that are requested by users. I do my best to explain the songs note-by-note, provide sheet music, and explain the techniques used in the songs.

Check out Accordion Love (accordionlove.com) for more lessons, songs, and sheet music!

    How about the start playing with right one not at the same point in time?It's harder to me because I don't read the sheets( im new in my accordion)while I playing.

    i think both piano and button accordions are chromatic, meaning they produce the same note on pull and push of the bellows. the other type -- diatonic - is the one that makes different sounds on pull and push of the bellows.

    I have an “office” shed similar to yours, but I’m too scared to leave my instruments in there overnight because it’ll get down to the 40’s at night or the 80’s in the day and I don’t want to leave a heater or AC running in case it starts a fire, so I lug all my instruments out to play them. Is that what you do?

  • @moshezuchter
    @moshezuchter9 күн бұрын

    We installed a heater, so in the winter it doesn't get too cold. And it's shaded by trees in the summer, so it doesn't get too hot. 🙂🙏

    I wish i could not play alone sometimes. Would be cool to play songs i like playing/that i know with other ppl. Frankly tho im not too great with...improvisation or knowing proper scales and stuff. I can play scales but if you walked up to me and said "lets play 'insert song here' in the key of D" i know what note D is, but i have no clue what the other notes are😅 thats 1 of the reasons i also kinda...dont like playing with others. When a musician approaches me, i have 0 concept of proper music theory and i sorta clam up and dont know what to do and it sounds awful😅

  • @moshezuchter
    @moshezuchter12 күн бұрын

    I LOVE your music! It'd be lovely to walk up to you and say "hey, let's play a waltz in G minor" and you start playing, and I'll play the scissors and the drum, and when I have the melody down, I can hum along. And after a while I might join in with my own accordion. Id like to think it's that organic, or, at least, it's nice when it's that low pressure ☺️

    I have started learning and practicing weird Al’s polkamania, and on the topics of today’s video, what I want to do is hope I can find another musician and me and them can be friends and we subconsciously teach eachother by playing with eachother perhaps bi weekly or monthly or whatever timeframe, because music is a language and a love letter to ourselves

    In most of Europe we call them simply button accordions. When we talk about cromatic accordions we refer to that the tone is the same for both bellow directions. Versus the diatonic accordion, where the tone shifts when bellow directions changes.. Button accordions are very common in Europe.
