Why isn't there a version of Python for this Ferrari of calculators? And if TI can provide rechargeable batteries, why can't Casio? Bah! A beautiful beast, but, like all Ferraris, lovely to look at, but a bugger to run!😁

I agree with everything said other than the button feel. I don't think it would be bad to make it more stiff like suggested, I just don't have much of a problem with it. The keyboard button, I think, should be replaced with a fraction input button. I hate having to open the menu to find common keys. I'd rather have hard buttons for a lot of what is in the keyboard menu. I know it would make it a bit bigger, I'm ok with that. If they made it as a cross between everything good about the class pad with the layout of the Sharp PC-G850V I'd pay good money for that. If they did that and added the buttons (including the shift/alpha functions of the Casio Fx115ES) It would be a perfect calculator. You don't need the full on querty keyboard like on the Sharp PC-G850V, and can use that real estate for the FX115 ES buttons and the screen of the Classpad. I think if Casio went with this hybrid of the Sharp PC-G850V, Class pad, and FX115 ES, it would also have a cool/unique factor or x-factor (math pun) that would sell a ton of units. Just my opinion though. Again, Casio if you are listening, I would pay STUUUUUUUUUUUPID money for this!

Fantastic post. Lots of interesting suggestions. I like the proposal about the layout of the device being horizontal, and use of extra space for more useful hardware keys incorporated. I really hope folks at Casio are working on a magical device to surprise us. I really like your suggestion for the form factor. The device is feeling dated and to be honest, it could have come out with slightly better specs when it did in 2013. Lots of usability and feature improvements software-wise needs to be made (some are really easy). I hope Casio design team are busy as we speak. Because the calculator industry is so small relatively speaking (eg. compared to mobile phones), not only updated versions take like over a decade come, we also do not find any rumours about the next device anywhere to satiate our curiosity. Very nice post. Thanks. :)

I've been thinking about this new dream calculator all day and I'm sad that it will be another ten years or so before another one comes out and when it does, it won't likely be what I had in mind. Also, I went back and pushed the buttons on my Class pad and tried them next to my FX115 es plus (2nd edition) and yeah, You're right. The Class Pad buttons could be better, but I do like their shape.

@@KalTheCleric I do feel excited at the thought of having a device with all the FX115 ES / Classwiz FX 991EX buttons and classpad features rolled onto one. That will be fantastic, square root is just there, ANS button is there...The comfort of a usual scientific calculator with the power of Classpad. It would be amazing if it is a horizontal device with a built in kick stand for tilt. Alas!

I’ve read where ppl theorize that the trauma experienced sets the male brain up to couple sex with pain. And that’s why so many men are sexually abusive. Can’t say if it’s true or not, but it’s worth looking at

In America the main and only reason that so many baby boys are circumcised is to make millions of dollars!
Circumcision is a violation of the sexual integrity of a child, it is molesting a child, the operation and the weeks after this act the child is in a state of fear of death, circumcision performed on boys and girls is at least equal to pedophilia! Circumcision performers are psychopaths!
