A friggin metal masterpiece. The back half of the song is simply brilliant. Like EVH the songwriting is as strong as the technical difficulties. 😊

Paul is phenomenal. Fuzz Universe is a masterpiece and everytime I listen to it, I feel like crying and throwing up at the same time 😂 Is anyone experiencing the same? It moves me so much, I feel sick. Perhaps it's because Paul plays it soo effortlessly.

Of all the mainstream guitar virtuosos out there, whether it's Vai, Satch, Malmsteen, Petrucci, and so many others... Paul is my favorite. I think it comes down to his impeccable picking technique, his alternate picking looks so effortless, and the way he makes use of patterns in his lead playing. Some people think his playing seems a bit robotic due to the way he works with patterns but to me, this guy has the perfect combination of technical ability and feeling, plus he just has an incredible ear for groove and melody, better than most. Always knows how to accentuate certain phrases, has fantastic vibrato, he's the whole package. Not a huge fan of his fireman guitars but every time I see one, it's distinctly Paul.

That's it for me too. Paul has both the technical ability and the musical gift of crating "feelings". His melodic and harmonic lines move me more than those of other guitarists.

PG , buckethead and Satch are the most versatile guitarists in the last 20..30 years. There are many of them but they go on their own style. But those 3 are just so impredictable in composition like no others

I don't really think buckethead as being that versatile. Maybe I need another listen. Paul and, especially Satch, yes. Paul has the best technique though.
