There’s a difference between alternate reality & impossibility. Some of these could’ve easily happened, like Tilden elected instead of Hayes. But others like the United States not being at full size at all, is impossible.

Great job. There are many nations, and the chapters are consistent. This brings much room for progress. Would love to see, perhaps many chapters after, when many of these kingdoms start to unify into big nations after the discovery of some huge land (like the 1500s-1700s) and create identities, while still knowing the provinces they went from

I am Latvian. My parents and grandparents had to endure the Soviet Union. Communism IS poor, and communism will not work. As for your point on "capitalism owning the third world", capitalism also predominantly rules the first world. These third world countries are not broke because of capitalism, but of corruption and rampant infighting. When viewing a map of third, second and first world countries, we see that usually most third world countries are in Africa, a continent known for it’s ethnic violence, overpopulation and corruption. Others have different reasons. I would love communism if it genuinely worked, but it doesn’t.
