  I spent 15 years scrounging for free soil, I've finally decided to just fucking buy soil. You pay in hassle or you pay in $. Sometimes I still get free soil if I find the good stuff tho.

  I really haven’t gotten the hang of this yet. I’m semi new to this and just bought a siphon and couldn’t figure out how to keep the flow going, the hose attached to the bucket and the substrate from being sucked up 🙈 also got water everywhere 😂

  Thanks for this video!!...So...you are using a pipette to blow the debris off the plants?...and then some kind of tube(?) to suck up the debris on the ground. And a pail to catch that. I was just thinking of cleaning my tank and I'm new to the hobby.

  $29 for 3 hands full of gravel?! just grab some fine, 2-6mm, crushed basalt from a local gravel supplier. (it looks amazing!) as long as it's under a bucket full, they will just let you take some, for bringing a nice coffee or snack, because they cant charge you for building supplies, below like 100 pounds.
