I am wondering why the bag with the mounts costs more than buying the bags and mounts separately?
Hello @LostZuk , thank you for your interest in our products. If you buy the bags and the adapter plates separately, you will also need an adapter kit for the side carriers for the large bags. This means that the bags with the adapter plates and the adapter kit are cheaper than if you were to buy everything separately.

I'm just about to order a new R 1300 GS - my first GS. And I already found a Dealer of my Trust and told him which Accessories from SW-Motech I want him to pre-install on my new bike. Great adjustability design on the foot pegs. All the products here look top notch!
I have found the mounting straps lose the ability to maintain tension with use. This becomes frustrating as a stop is consequently required every few miles for re-adjustment to make the bag secure.

Hello @ad78, thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately, we only have the SLC side carriers for the R18. The Sysbag WP L are attached to the PRO side carrier. And we don't have the mounting points to attach the PRO side carrier to the R18. The Sysbag WP L is too large and has too high a load weight to be mounted on the SLC side carrier.
