Hi can you tell me the style of cropped ears your dogs have, we are getting a giant schnauzer puppy and we are getting his ears cropped. Thank you
I believe in case of our puppy it called Tall Ears cropping. All the best with your future adventures with your puppy ❤️
Did you consider crate training right away to prevent the peeing accidents altogether?
I do think that this is a great practice, honestly! But since we live in the house with yard I thought that there is not a need for crate. Also, with my first giant schnauzer - Arny, we never had such issues. He learned quite fast that he needs to “show” that he wanna pee and we let him go out. Maybe in total he did it 4-5 times at home his first week with us. With Sydney it was a completely different story. He drinks a lot of water, since the first day till now. As a puppy Sydney drank twice more than Arny and he was not able to hold it more than an hour after drinking. When he reached 7 months old, problem disappeared.
best dogs ever! Got an old 12.5 year old boy at the tail end of his life but what a dog he's been!
I've immediately subscribed and added to my lists!!! I used to have a mini schnauzer and have been looking to move into Portgual. I put those two into google and this AMAZING video came up! Thank you!
Thank you for your comment! Happy you found it helpful:) wishing you all the best in moving to Portugal with your mini schnauzer ❤️ if you will be looking for a groomer, let me know, we found a good one who is specialised in this breed
Enjoy watching these two playing. The font size was too small for me to read. Also like seeing what Portugal looks like. My chesador has had eight ticks so far this year. I see many more on long blades of grass laying in wait. It must be a side effect of climate change. I watch animal videos around the world and the animals seem to have them more this year.
Thank you so much for your comment 😊 Actually, it’s a good idea to keep font bigger and more readable for, thank you for sharing. With ticks … yea, seems that something is changing. I’m observing this year that ticks became smaller in their size, therefore, it’s much more of them this season..
Wonderful video! Love watching these two play. Thank you. If you have issues with ticks or other bugs, you can try using coconut oil. Brush some into their coats before walks in areas with ticks. Our veterinarian was the one who suggested it. If they lick some off, that's okay too because it's supposed to be good for their skin if they eat it. Seems to work for our Giant.
Hey, thank you for the tip! Coconut oil, it is also going to smell nice. Will try to do it next time we go to the forest :) Yea, it's a big problem with ticks in our area
🖤
😍😍🖤
Beautiful dogs! I love the giants! I’ve had 2, 1male, 1female, both lived to age 12
Thanks for the video
Why didn’t he learn as a pup?
Never had a chance to do it :)
❤️🌞👍👍👍
Appreciate the reminder. Occasionally, COTA can be quite playful. It's important to recall that the typical lifespan of a large dog is around 10 years. Every moment, whether pleasant or challenging, deserves to be treasured.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Your comment resonates deeply. Welcoming a large dog into your life indeed brings about significant changes, both wonderfully enriching and occasionally daunting. Personally, I can relate to the struggle of adjusting to the messiness that comes with rainy days and forest walks, particularly in the initial stages. It's a constant battle against dirt and cleaning, isn't it? 😅 I'm curious, what was the most challenging adjustment you faced with Cota?

Adorable dogs. Very smart and beautiful 😍
Beautiful trip, the dogs were so cute 🥰
Thank you! 😊
Very Nice Trip. It's amazing how the two GS share the back seat.
Thank you Cota ❤️ Yea, surprisingly! At the beginning Arny was not able to be with Syd on the back seat for more then 30 min, but now looks that they get used to it
Talos, my giant schnauzer, loves watching your videos. And I get a real kick out of his reaction to it as well. Thanks for being amazing and keep making great content!
My pleasure! Wish you a great weekend with Talos ❤️
❤
They will benefit from some good obedience training. They are lovely Giants!
i like signature k9’s biothane multi function harness! i have one for my golden and it’s lasted us 3 years so far, still looks brand new!
For sure you got your hands full with Sydney 😊. He is so entertaining 😂. And Arny is such a good big brother 🥰
Sydney is the most emotional dog I ever met 🤭 and Arny is a great wise brother to him ❤
My first dog, Ronie, was a miniature schnauzer. When he was younger my parents bought a standard schnauzer, Scot, that is now 8 years old. Last year my parents bought Leslie, a black standard schnauzer. She makes Scot happier, given that when my miniature passed away he became quiet and sad. Anyway, I just want to say that is really good to have two or more dogs, both for the humans and the dogs. And schnauzers are perfects pets, even though I never had a giant, I believe they are perfect dogs too. Love to meet your beautiful dogs ❤
Thank you so much for sharing about Ronie, Scot and Leslie ❤Schnauzers are truly incredible souls and best companions 🐶
I love your boys xx
❤️ thank you
Just so handsome. And their new collars fit them so nicely🐾 Love❤ Schnauzers!
Thank you so much❤ I love these collars as well :)
Looks like the puppy does not want to eat the crap that you feed them... I feed my GS raw meat (with raw bones and skin), eggs, sometimes cheese, fish. You don't need any vitamins if the dogs get a variety of the raw meats. You'd be surprised how healthy your dog will be if not fed the commercial kibble crap food... Thanks for the video, though!

Charming dogs!
They are sweet boys 🥰
I just love Giant Schnauzers🐾🐾Your pups are gorgeous , You can tell they are very well taken care off❤
❤️
Lovely!
C'est vraiment magnifique de voir l'amour que vous partagez avec vos géants schnauzer bravo
Lovely!
Hi, lovely seeing your boys grow. Reminds me so much of my late Hugo. That said, sorry to hear Arny isn’t well. The symptoms you mentioned reminded me of Hugo when ill. Have you checked for pancreatic anomalies? I didn’t know it was a thing schnauzers could get. Wishing speedy recovery. Be well x
Thank you for your comment and for your wishes ❤️ Hm, interesting to know. We have not checked on the pancreas yet… just did different blood tests, and everything was good apart from the one that showed positive for the parasites in the blood… will observe this month how he does 🙏
They are adorable.
They are beautiful. We have a three months old giant schnauzer puppy. Could you please recommend the shampoo and how often to wash. He comes from outside happy and dirty 😂, very dirty after running in woods in mud and in the creek, and I don't know how often I can give him a bath.
Hello!:) sure👌 I use shampoo VERY RARELY, only in cases they step into something that smells 💩 most of the time I give them a bath with water (not hot, and not cold, just slightly warm) and this is it. Shampoo, I took Bio-Groom, Ultra Black - use the same bottle for a year already 😊
@@my.giant.schnauzers Thank you so much for your advice. Will do the same.
They are so sweet 🥰. Which one is Arny or Sydney? They look the same
Thank you ❤️ the one on my leg is Arny, the one who was on my hand is Sydney :)
Yea, we will by different collars to differentiate them now 😂
My giant just jumped in the pool then rolled on the muddy grass to top it off😂
😁
These Giant Schnauzers are having fun, glad that the other one didn’t get hurt sliding down. Love Giant Schnauzers🐾🐾
Thank you 🥰
Those energic critters sure are having fun.
They’re so cute 🥰
Thank you ❤
