Jessica Lujan

Hello, my name is Jessica. I am a 27yr old. wife and mommy to 5 babies. 2 are here in this life with me. Gracie (2) and Hope (1). I have suffered 2 miscarriages. One of which was a twin miscarriage. My new year's resolution was to really start focusing on myself. These past couple of years have been like a really fast rollercoaster. From college, to getting married, to having babies, to losing babies, to moving away not knowing anyone.... Taking on the roles as mommy and wife and really forgetting who I am as an individual. This channel is going to be just a vblog of my journey. :)

Thank you for sharing your story and for being so honest! The Pregnancy Loss Project is interested in how women cope with pregnancy loss and how pregnancy loss affects them. We are looking for women, ages 18-50, who have had an involuntary pregnancy loss, such as a miscarriage, stillbirth, or therapeutic abortion, to participate in a project about pregnancy loss, visit: tinyurl.com/pregnancyloss. In appreciation of your participation, the research team made a single $150 donation to March of Dimes to thank you for sharing your experiences, and to benefit others who have experienced pregnancy loss.

.... we are currently hoping to get pregnant again and pray for a full term delivery and a normal pregnancy. Your story kind of made me relive mine. I thank you for sharing and I hope one day that I can have at least 1 beautiful, healthy baby in this world. Us women never realize how delicate pregnancy can be unless you suffer through something so dramatic. My heart goes out to every woman whose ever lost a baby. Were strong, keep hope!!! because miracles happen everyday I pray I get mine soon!

(in continuation)... after that, a few days later I started hemmoraghing really bad with clots. I rushed to the hospital and needed and emergency D&C to take out the blood clots around my uterus causing the heavy excessive bleeding. I was soooo scared of the amount of blood that literally ran down my legs and the size of the clots I was passing were as big as a full term baby. I ended up having a blood transfusion after the D&C surgery. It was traumatic for my fiance and I. With that a year ago.

Thank you for your story. I myself went through 2 miscarriages a year apart. 1 was in the first 5 weeks of pregnancy and the 2nd one was during my 6 weeks of pregnancy which the doctors said looked like "2 babies" ... (twins). My first miscarriage is expelled "as they call it" the baby out normally through passing tissue and bleeding. My 2nd miscarriage was the worst ever, after I went to the hospital several times I started officially miscarrying the babies...

Jessica, thank you for sharing your experience. I just had my 3rd MC on Oct 6th. My husband& I have not been blessed with a child yet& this has been really awful for me. On Dec 1st I will be passing what should have been my first due date& I know that will be a really hard day for me. I am switching dr's in hopes that the new dr can help me fix this problem. Having 3 MC in the10months we have been TTC is crushing my hopes. I know I need to trust in God& know that it will happen but it is hard.

Nice video! Setting the goal to run a marathon is fantastic. I actually did the same thing. I'm running my first marathon this Sunday. I'm freaking out lol. It's interesting that you mentioned quitting smoking because I had to get certified in smoking cessation counseling for school today. Anyway, keep pursuing your dreams and good luck. I'm going to subscribe.

@nyboakye Thank you for watching my video. Yes, it was a rollarcoaster of emotions! I really dont know how I got pregnant right after my miscarriage. I knew I lost the first twin because there was a sac that came out with my baby inside. Since I had miscarried before that I knew. When one miscarries... the cramping and bleeding is extreme... How far along are you?? Some women bled throughout their prenancies and its normal, mostly your womb stretching to make room for baby.

wow.. that's one complex story. Had only watched a little(after you had cried) before the first comment I made. Now I have listened to the rest of the video.. Must have been too many feelings to contain at once. How did u get pregnant so soon after the miscarriage? And how did u know u had lost the first twin when you did? Do u actually see a baby or is it the amount of bleeding that makes you know? I'm pregnant and have experienced bleeding. It has stopped though. Ur baby girl Hope is so cute.

Brave of you to relive those moments. But it's good to know that you are well. Things happen in life that we don't understand but God loves his children and we are always safe and comforted. You have lovely kids and a lot to be grateful for. Smile and enjoy your family. Hugs!!
