I don't know how your Cardo clips on but if it has some flexibility (plastic clip) and 3-5cm of space, it should theoretically work. On average the stock ONYX RCR front brake pads (different than the rear) will last between 12k miles and 15k miles. The front brake pads for the CTY2 are the same as the CTY2. Using “BrakeKleen” brake parts cleaner is something that should happen every 1k miles do 2k miles depending on how much dirt the front brake is exposed to. As for the squeaking sound, that’s always going to be there regardless of using BrakeKleen or using 300 grit then 500 grit sandpaper to clean the pads. Getting rid of the noise comes down to changing to the “sintered” version of the brake pads. There’s nothing wrong with changing the brake pads prematurely, it’s more about cleaning the caliper and rotator with BrakeKleen when changing the brake pads.

You also have to take into consideration how much you ride, how spirited you ride, weight, elements etc. but theoretically it states 500 to 1,000 miles. As for signals, you’ll pretty much know when your brakes are losing their ‘grab.’ The squeaking is not really a tell only because mine still had a bunch of life on them, I just couldn’t put up with the squeaking, and I’ve done the whole CRC Brake quiet stuff and it does not help tbh.
