  I've never understood the recent fetishization of big watches for men. A small watch on the wrist generally looks and feels better. WW2 watches were like 30mm.

  You are correct. I would get a 36mm as well. This is essentially a dress watch. And a 40mm dress watch does not look very elegant. 40mm is a dive watch size.

  I sold it so I never found out! The water resistance is 50m.

  Quick to sell out !?!? I wish Timex did not put that large QUARTZ legend on the Dial .🙈 The “ Q “ up-top could have been quite neatly placed on the bottom half of the Dial 🥸☝️ That said ; I find it to be a handsome Neo-Vintage design ❤

  Yes I guess the design dates from a time when watchmakers were proud to be making quartz watches so it's prominently displayed on the dial, but like you say it's still a handsome watch anyway!

  If I like the watch then I purchase it, past reputations are in the past, we live in the present & as far as I’m concerned Tag Heuer are superb quality at a cost in comparison to other brands. It’s Tag all the way for me 👍
