Very enjoyable ❤.
Thank you, Henry! My grandfather gave me a scroll which fell off the wall and tore a bit. I’ll use your instructions to repair that tear, and I look forward to hanging it again soon! Genevieve Houston

Hi Henry, can you clarify please: Is the entire painting a reflection of a landscape on water or just the upper half of the composition?
@briannalui Traditionally, there is no reflection in Chinese landscape. It is the landscape itself.
What time July 16th on east coast? Looking forward to workshop.

❤❤❤thank you
So beautiful roses Very useful video to paint roses Thank you so much for sharing
Thank you so much for your in depth explanation on how to use this wonderful brush. I was a bit surprised that you used acrylic paint since it dries so quickly. I thought you'd be using watercolor ink (Dr. Martens). Have you tried Yupo paper? It i totally non-absorbent.
The store looks to be out of the hard copy book. Is there a way to now get it?
which one?
It is out of print.
😊
I like the sharing of etegami but wish the music could be more in keeping with the gentle art of etegami.
I have just replaced the noisy music with a soothing one.
May I know what is the traditional method of mounting silk paper? If I don’t have silicone paper, can I use another method to mount silk paper?
You may wet mount it after painting is done with wheat paste.
Thank you so much Henry! The stamp is perfect and we love the video!
Thank you!
wow beautiful
THAT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!❤
❤❤❤
jeffrey fawver this is how its spelt Mr Li Thank you Sir.
Hi Mr Jeffrey Fawver, sorry for misspelling your name. Thanks for pointing that out.
Is this worth it to parctice drawing or better to use ink and paper? I also heard with ice temperature water it evaporates slower, is this true?
Yes. Yes, it is slower with icy cold water.
May you have many more fond memories yet to come, and still more adventures. Happy birthday to you from Scotland - I bought two marvellous water pens from you many years ago...I am still learning - we always learn and grow, because really we know nothing in the grand scheme, the more I learn - the more I realise I know nothing
Hello Mr. Li, I am researching photo mounts made ca. 1900-1920 that have a woven fiber material adhered to the reverse on paper card mounts.( confusing description, ) I think the fiber is silk, too small to see at X-20, but it burns very rapidly and completely when a fiber touched a flame. In this video are you using real silk material or is it some other type of silk paper? Is this product produced anywhere anymore? I first thought it might be flax ( or linen) but now I wonder? The qualities of the fiber have neutralized many of the aggressive agents that degrade un-mounted images. Thank you for your videos!
It is the silk textured paper. but it should be fine with real silk as well. I have no idea about the fiber materials you are asking about.
should ı use turpentine for my brush before using oil paint?
This kind of soft brush is designed for use with watercolors only. Yes, you might have to use lots of turps if you want to use it oil paint.
@@blueheronarts thank you. when we clean with water and soap . is it good to be distilled water ?
@@Sky34official no, just tap water will be fine.
@@blueheronarts big thanks ❤️🙌🏻
