I just posted a Mulan camp video, like 5 days ago, and I was so proud of it. Then I saw yours and I got jealous! You have so many more toys to play with!! You got those fences, the large tent... lol. I want those items! LOL Nice job overall.
Thank you! I've been playing since the game launched in beta. You'll get those items. What I do is I atleast hop on for 5 minutes each day and check scrooges shop. Helped me get everything :)
@@Sangelsaur I got here a month after the release, have nesrly 3200 hours logged, been creating design videos for almost two years, I'm no stranger to the Valley... hahaha. But I have always had the worst luck with Scrooge's store!! There are STILL a couple of missing Encanto items, a few Frozen items, even an Oswald item, that never, ever showed up. My wife has em. My kid has em. I just get the same tables, beds, and other repeat stuff, over and over again. It's sad. I keep on trying--never miss a day unless I'm actually AT Disneyland... lol. Cross your fingers for me, eh? :]
Goodness! I know people have thousands of hours but my gosh and u don't have the items!!! I have a little over 500(maybe 600, haven't calculated it since my 500 hr video). I don't wanna get bored so I play different games when I'm not creating content

Yeah idk when the rides started acting weird either! I put Minnie in the glade with daisy and goofy and hickey are in the plateau for now. Nothing permanent yet for them! And thank you!

what do you recommend to make lots of chests? I feel like the grind to just craft large chests especially colored ones takes soooo much time and is rather draining when I'm also trying to play catch up and unlock doors etc. also the scrooge storage box....can we order more of those? i feel like they are perfect for storing all the gems but We only have 1 from the quest
So all of these have to be crafted. You have to have the forgotten lands open to get the dark wood. After that's open I suggest removing all trees and placing down a few plaza trees, that way the wood will only spawn around those and it'll be really easy to gather :)

I never thought about using those shelves as a display to show what items are in the chests! I have a fish room I did ages ago and I think I might add those shelves. :) Great build!

All the sunbirds like flowers. Their favorite are the flowers with the same color of the birds inner wing. I just gave them flowers from Sunlit but I matched the color of their inner wing.

Watching this after restarting recently and recently getting back into DDV I’d love if they would just allow you type onto the sign wouldnt that make this whole thing so much easier like I don’t want to have 10 forageable chests and have to go through all of them!!
That would make it a lot easier but I know that would be super difficult for some platforms to be able to type on. I have 1 foragable chest and that seems to work well. (Redid my storage)

Hello, I'm currently watching your video and you've just asked for some help with understanding dreamsnaps and how people manage to get higher scores. I'm not sure how much you know about it, so forgive me if what I say is something you already know. First of all, dreamsnaps is really, really random to be honest. It's impossible to fully figure it out and frankly, sometimes I think it's more than a little broken, especially when, as you said, you have these pictures that are empty or seemingly have nothing to do with the theme and yet they score much higher than one that is on theme and breathtakingly beautiful. So yeah the first thing to know is that there really is no sure-fire way to make sure you do well. But to give yourself a fighting chance, here are a few tips. (My qualifications: I do about 4 - 6 dreamsnaps EVERY week, 2 for myself, 1 for my dad, sometimes 1 for my mom and usually 2 for my brother. More often than not, these submissions get 4k moonstones.) 1) You want to make sure you have really good lighting. A good rule to go by is to make sure your avatar's shadow is behind you. Play with the time of day as you are scouting a location to give yourself the best lighting possible. If doing a night shot, make sure to use plenty of lights that actually give off light. Some lamps light up but don't actually give off light outside. If it's still too dark, consider using a filter to help lighten it up. The last filter on the first row is usually really good. When doing an indoor build, I place my windows first, to make sure the windows are on the walls that let in the light as not all walls do. 2)Tags! Pay attention to your tags. They are very important and the more you have, the better. There are people who load up their dreamsnaps with more than 200 of each tag. What I do is, I make sure that I have space behind where I'm going to stage my shot, and I use either the vine wall, the waterfall wall or the bamboo trees cluster from the DLC as a backdrop and I just throw down as many one or two tile items as I can that match the tags before moving on to the larger items from the dreamsnap filter we were given. Also try to use as many items as you can that match, not only the main tags, but also the bonus tags. I usually shoot to have 75 - 150 tags of each main tag for decor, and for clothing I try to max out tags as well, which is usually around 10 - 14 each main tag. I never wear a dress anymore for outfit challenges because I lose too many tags that way. That's a sure fire way to get a low base score. (You can still score really well with a dress, but the composition of the photo usually has to be exquisite.) 3) Composition. Make sure you decorate to the theme and you fill your shot. An empty shot looks bad in my humble opinion. You don't have to over clutter but you want to make sure you don't leave too much empty space. Decorating a smaller area rather than doing half a biome or something is better. It's easier to fill up, you're less likely to get burned out while working on it, and you won't have as much space to photograph so you won't be tempted to stand in front of everything just to show off everything you did. Also, pay attention to your foreground and pathing. So many people overlook that. Make sure your path continues off camera and that you aren't standing at the edge of it. You want to give the illusion that there's more in front of you. You can also frame your picture with items or trees. When doing a room build, please, for the love of all that is good in the world, do NOT stand close to the door or on the elevator because you want to get the whole room in the shot. I GUARANTEE you, it's better to lose some of the decor than for your picture to have the door, the elevator or any black void in it. 4) Posing. Use a critter to give your avatar a more dynamic pose. Just standing there is pretty boring. If you are going to just stand there, let your character stay idle and take the shot as it does an animation but dynamic posing is better. Also, use characters if you have the patience. Use the B&L drink cup with the straw to trap them in if you have too. Try not to pose your character too far away from the camera, especially during outfit challenges. 5) Picture mode. I avoid selfies, especially in outfit challenges. Sometimes selfies do well in decor challenges but for outfit challenges they are very risky. A lot of people do not vote if they can't see your most of your outfit. (This goes for using certain critters that block your outfit as well, such as Pua or the turtles.) I almost always use a wide shot, especially for decor. For outfit challenges, I've been using free camera mode lately. This allows you to get in really close to your character and really show off the details of your outfit, character customizations and makeup. One shot I rarely do because I've heard some people say they don't like them is aerial shots. Those are my top tips. I know it's a long read, but I hope it helps and that you got some use out of it. My game also doesn't show my results right away. It will be stuck on "processing". A helpful tip I learned though is, returning to the main menu and coming back will almost always make it show up in my mailbox. This method has almost always worked for me but if it doesn't then try closing the game completely and then it will appear. Not sure why the game does this, I've noticed happening to me about 2 updates ago. btw those bo peep ears are SO cute! also love your dreamsnap :)

Loved the daily outfit💙 my fav part of the update is probably the touch of magic feature, I also love daisy's storyline🥹 I vote the same way you do!! I spend hours, if not days working on dreamsnaps so I like that effort to match with the votes I place... not to mention I like the really extra dreamsnaps as it gives great inspo for my own valley... The dreamsnap rewards have been bugged since the monsters Inc update... sometimes you have to relaunch your game again and it'll show up in the mailbox!
