For anyone curious, every microphone has what's called a "Polar Pattern" which describes the ideal region a microphone responds to. Some microphones also have a switch that changes the shape, if they do usually it'll have icons of an upside-down heart shape (cardioid) and a circle (omni). If you want to know the best way to position your mic, search up the polar pattern for the one you are using. It's almost always best to leave a mic on "cardioid" if you are the only person talking into it, but for capturing room/ambient or sound from multiple angles or people "omni" is best.

I'm still pretty new to grinding top tier. However, I actually think that they're pretty great! they can be flared off semi easy, but I tend to get more kills with them than I do with the AIM-7M's on the F-15A!
