Zero cargo carrying capacity. 90% of my rides bring groceries home from the grocery store. Every trip I make, groceries are getting picked up and brought on the ride back. It's got to be a pack mule, otherwise, it becomes a barn queen collecting dust. Good for joy rides and nothing more. How could you miss that one.

Funny I use parking spaces not the sidewalk unless there is a bike rack. Lidl sucks though lazy people put the carts in the bike parking.

You don't make more power you just change the throttle curve. But it is still worth it.

You can't corner at 80mph on a cruiser. The bike forces you to slow down or die, and you choose option 1 every time.

I love mine too!!, light and fast is the way to go, hands down.., I did a few required mods, 100w LED headlights, a 10" Amber fog light bar ( EBAY, of course) I highly recommend this one, It WILL save your life!!, It's a triple row LED and extremely bright, also changed all the bulbs to ultra bright LED's, a brake light strobe/flasher, 2 RGB eyebrow bulbs just for fun, Engine cover slide protectors (Rockmute Strada's), Blue Pipe Mid Link Exhaust Muffler replacement (much lighter & louder than stock) with the "hot blue" look, and a db killer insert (didn't do much db killing though), a ZX6 rear shock - adjustable gas dampening and preload spring, (this is a great mod, also did this to my other two EX250's.. sold them for the 300). looks like sprockets next for a little more top end. and tires too, probably Mich. Road. 5's. BTW, Love ur "Hate" Vid... LoL🤣

I hope he kept riding motorcycles. I started riding back in 2003, having bought a Ninja 250R which was my only transportation back then, and still riding as of 2024, now on a newer Ninja 650. A smaller engine bike like the Ninja 250R could hit 110 mph indicated downhill, and was fully capable on freeways, though it was comparable to the acceleration of a regular car for most things. Great on fuel, these twin cylinder engines are compared to faster bikes and 4 cylinders.

*Thanks “ThisLife Riding”. I am a young at heart (born 1949) rider. Today, I am eagerly waiting for my KAWASAKI Vulcan 650 Cafe (ABS). It will be delivered Tues 19 Dec 2023. Thereafter I’ll hit the road AH1 (Asia Highway 1) from Bangkok to Northern Chiang Mai 680 km. Soon, I will have two bikes. My old ‘Thumper’ =RE= Meteor 350. Two years. Mileage 30,000 km. All over sunny Thailand in tropical heat and heavenly downpours. No more 350 cc Royal Enfield! Enough is enough! The nasty VIBRATIONS! Thanks for the chronic Wry Neck (Torticollis) And the Neuropathy (numb right hand throttle hand & fingers) usually after one hour in the saddle. It’s been good to know ya! =RE= No more. There is a Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. But, I did choose the 650 cc KAWASAKI Vulcan. I am sure you’ll understand. The ‘KAWA’ Ninja 650 cc engine and the KAWASAKI’S engineering, reputation and super clean service centers all over Thailand. Greetings Johnny BikeSanooK! My KZread channel* www.carsanook.com

I bought this jacket new many years ago and now the shoulder/elbow armor is toast, I can buy new one's but placing armor pads into mesh/textile pockets is a stupid idea in the first place since it inherently moves all over the place and probably wouldn't protect you in a fall, now I'm thinking the best bet to buy breathable full body armor to wear underneath, at least I know that will stay in place.

The info in this video really needs to be reassessed because chest injuries most certainly do happen and they are certainly not "way less common" when compared to other parts of the body. Particularly when it comes to impact injuries. Chest injuries often account for the highest rates of fractures. This is because it isn't uncommon for the chest to be one of the first things that collides with parts of the bike during an accident. It is for this reason broken ribs are a very common motorcycle injury and why increasingly we see airbag vests on the track and mandatory chest protection on tracks. I had an accident in full race leathers minus chest protector and was fine apart from badly bruised very sore ribs, I was lucky not to have broken them. Back protectors on the other hand seem to help soft tissue injury to the back but not spinal injuries. This is because spinal fractures are most likely to be caused by flexion, axial load or compression forces along the spine either from the head or base of the spine. But unlike chest protection back protectors seem to have very high level of importance placed on them. I've been reassessing my motorcycle PPE lately and am currently looking for options that include some of certified CE chest impact protection with decent coverage. The thing is with motorcycle accidents is while statistically there are higher risk zones in reality any part/s of the body could be effected depending on the type of accident. Accidents come in all shapes and sizes. Personally I think there should be more options for chest armour available in jackets. It doesn't take much to put mesh pockets in place should someone see it as important.

Light weight, peppy engine and best of all, IT'S NOT A V-TWIN. I hate the chug chug chug of a V-Twin. You complained about the forward comtrols, but that is a matter of choice. I was going to but Triumph SPeed Twin but the foot controls were too far rearward for me. i like my feet straight down from my knees like the bikes were in the 60's or forward controls. I will never own a bike where my feet are rear set. It's just a mtter of choice. Once you get use to wha\ich ever you like the control of the bike comes natually.

This is private property. Cops have no say where you park on private property. This is not a sidewalk. Sidewalks are next to roads. There are no roads visible here - only driveways. It is completely legal to park on this concreted area.

At 5'11" and 210lbs I rode mine 5hrs all interstate, 2 ways, around 80ish at approximately 8300 rpm, and it was all good. Butt started to cramp the last hour in each direction but my dual sport starts to cramp me up in about an hour so that's pretty good for a "beginner" bike In my opinion. It's definitely capable of more than city commutes it's quick and nimble, it's not gonna win any races against anyone with skill or hp, but it's a decent all around road bike for sure. I love mine

Although the WEST tends to look at the ninja 250 and 300 as "starter bikes" and "throwaway bikes" there are MANY places in the world where the 250-300cc bikes are the go-to bikes for many reasons. affordability, insurance regulations, etc etc... and because of this, the ninja 250-300 are built to be SUPER reliable and SUPER economical to run. You could EASILY put a few hundred thousand miles on a bike like that and not even blink. If you keep up with basic maintenance, I'd surmise that you could put an indefinite number of miles on these bikes. And every single mile on a small bike is JUST AS FUN as it is on a big bike, if not even more fun. I've owned big and small, and my 250s REMAIN some of my all-time favorite bikes.
