Mr Perugini would have you believe Vowst was developed by Nestle Health Sciences. This is not true. Vowst (formerly SER-109) was developed by Seres Therapeutics (MCRB) with funding from Nestle and a (50-50) co-commercialisation agreement. It is Seres that hold patents on the microbiome, not Hestle.

Many RA patients I have talked to do not like the false impression that RA pharmaceutical ads give. These ads make it look like we are all suddenly going to be biking and gardening. It is hard enough to live with an invisible illness without ads promoting false impressions.

However, I would defend this video as not being an "advertisement" on the grounds that Alex doesn't actually mention his company once in 20'! If it is an advertisement for Alex because he shares great insight, then isn't that the kind of advertising we should all be doing?
