Hi, what strap did you match with the Alpinist, and is this particular variation of the watch no longer made?

I smiled through this entire vid because i literally did this same trip when i was in japan six weeks ago. Went to every spot you mentioned minus samurai, wanted to purchase something from fire kids (but ran out of budget for it), but funny enough I also purchased the same 35mm cream dial Kuoe oldsmith (but opted for the date version).

YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH 36 EVEN IF LOOKS A LITTLE SMALLER, BUT MOSTLY 41 WILL BE TOO BIG FOR THE MOST WRIST SIZES, UNLES YOU HAVE A GIANT WRIST GO WITH 41

Thanks I learned a good lesson…where to go and get one. I will pay 800 dollars and not worry about it getting stolen, cause I can fly back ten time with full vacation in toe before I pay Jonas or any gray market vendor 25K. Thanks for the upload.

I suggest you stop howling with with the wolfs and take a good look at GS bracelets. I don’t believe you ever did because you’d take otherwise.

1 reason why Seiko is the worst watch. Accuracy sometimes 1 minute per day.

I bought an AQ4091-56A The Citizen and love it, I consider my alternative to any of the GS 9F quartz models and I only paid $2100 from a seller in Japan

The only downside to the Credor Phoenix IMHO is that integrated bracelet that is essentially not removable, compounded by the fact it's a small bracelet that won't fit larger wrists, and good luck finding additonal links for a long out of production model

I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the #mamacoo we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake

Thanks for making this. I’m a digital nomad who’s had his eye on a Seiko chronograph, but the import taxes are too high in the country I’m currently in. I was curious about the pricing in Japan. You’ve given me a reason to head back to Tokyo sooner rather than later.🍻

I bought a Panerai Radiomir in Cambodia in the central market, replaced the strap with a thick high quality leather strap otherwise its perfect still looks new, runs/looks great. I buy homage now from AliExpress and all have been fantastic in terms of quality relative to price and enjoyment wearing. I wear them not hide away in a box lol.

I couldn't stand the video beyond 10mins... It seems you don't have the money hence all the nitpicking... Except for bracelet, none of your arguments made sense... I'll give you one valid argument, many GS have tooo wide faces, dial/crystal size is too much in proportion to the case.. .that's pretty much it, movement, dial work, case everything is on point... even price

I want to love this watch. Everytime I see a picture of it, I want to try to make it work. Its photogenic face is a thing of beauty. But most times, it fails to meet my wants and needs. The accuracy isn't great, legibility can be questionable on different light conditions, the compass is mostly useless to me, and the dimensions on wrist don't tend to impress me. I wouldn't call it a terrible watch. It just doesn't suit what I'm looking for.

That's just how good of a fake it was. They even copied the Rolex buying experience perfectly. I bought a fake for like $30 when I was probably 17. I loved that watch and wore it for years. If anyone asked, I'd tell them it was a fake, but if you really knew anything about Rolex watches, it would have been obvious anyway. It was quartz, and at one point the battery died. I took it to Kay jewelers, who sold Rolex at the time, and they told me they couldn't replace the battery because it was fake, so I got it done at a different jewelry store. This, to me, is an example of shortsightedness - assuming the guy wearing a fake today won't buy the real thing later. I wouldn't have been able to come close to affording the real thing at the time, but I did buy the real version of the same watch many years later, along with a few others, all vintage so $0 of mine have gone to the company. Their design and manufacturing operations are great. Their sales and service operations... not. I don't know why anyone tolerates it. Maybe I'll buy a new one some day if they start treating their customers well.
