You can see its men from time to time in the streets of Paris on their horses for training or for official occasions. It is impressive : the horses are very well kept, the costumes are brillant and the military orpheon is excellent.

26:14 : this column in the center of Place de la Bastille is a symbol of the 1830 revolution which lasted three days called Les Trois Glorieuses (the three glorious days). Some of the revolutionnaries killed during its repression are buried under this column. This canal goes further underground till the La Villette area, in the North East of Paris. Touristic boats can get you there (from place to place there are wells which provide fresh air and light).
