As a devout Catholic Man, I also am a Stand-Up Comedian, Software Developer/Engineer and have 6 Kids with my wonderful and supportive wife. There is a high chance that we won't agree on some things, and that's perfectly ok with me. But I'm not one for echo-chambers. I believe in honest game discussions and will even talk about real life stuff in segments called Class Dismissed. Remember that a monopoly only exists if it exercises monopoly powers, which is why Microsoft isn't classified as one. If they start excluding, then there could be serious consequences for them. This is why Steam kind of just lets things happen as well and fix it after the fact. They don't want to be accused of engaging in monopolistic behavior.

I’m looking forward to playing NRFTW again but idk if expanding the Crucible will bring me back. Sad as it is to say, I never managed to beat the Crucible Knight. Maybe I’m using weapons that too heavy of commitment. That said, I think creating a game from an amalgamation of 2-4 games can be good. The combat and mandatory content are what the game targets. The rest of the content is what draws in the other players to try it out. Trying to appeal to everyone though just makes a game bad as you can’t make everyone happy. Best to stick with the target audience you are aiming for and pleasing them.
I'm just a casual gamer. I don't have a big set up, just a TV on a stand with my consoles around it. And I absolutely LOVE Final Fantasy 16. It kinda feels like my roots with a combination of 8 and X, ya know?
So we will just have the New crucible ? No content on the story ?
From what has been communicated there might be more than just the crucible update, but I'm not trying to set false expectations as this has been what they've been saying, ultimately I hope for more, but it might be a function of time.

Thanks, hopefully it is a good one, I've had a lot of frustrations with my current PC.
Personally think this was the wrong direction to go. Expanding on the world is significantly more important. I dropped 150 hours in to this game and am still a big fan, but I stopped playing over a month ago. A revamped dungeon isn’t nearly enough to bring me back. Don’t need or want an infinitely replayable game mode. World and story was always the big draw. Bit down on this :/

How do you have 80k subs? Are those mostly bot subs?
I make a lot of guide content as that’s something I enjoy so I get a lot of passive and consistent traffic. I also cover variety of games so I end up casting a wide net. Last bot purge KZread did I saw maybe a 20-25 sub drop so I don’t think I have a large bot problem but you never know. I also have other channels that are growing too and my mmo channel is almost to 20k subs.
So interesting. Maybe in this context NMS players are the other side of the boundary? Boundary failure =LNF/NMS cross over? Oh maybe LNF is the last world in the NMS universe that hasn’t been altered by the atlas??? Like the last uncontacted primitives in our own planet but it’s an entire planet that has been designated as a “no contact” zone??? Or maybe LNF is the only actual world and the entire NMS universe is just a program that is connected to a bunch of cryosleep pods that crash landed on this planet and the AI ship is just protecting them from the inhabitants of the LNF world???? Idk my imagination runs wild with this.

They’ve shared that they might do an early access launch on console but first they just want to focus on just one build for the time being. However as soon as that changes I’ll let you know

Looking forward to diving back into Wicked. Crucible wouldn't be my choice for first major content update as I really wanna see where they take the story. Still excited to see what the team has been working on.
Same… I’d love to continue with the story - I hit the pause button a while ago, hoping for a new area / lots of areas to open up…. Although, I do enjoy a good roguelite (Dead Cells… Deep Rock Galactic Survivor) - I’d still prefer the hardcore combat RPG mechanics with a large area, and big story (with multiple branching paths) to dig into and explore.

I also think the 2 games are in some way connected. I've actually made a scenario in my head called "Light No Man's Sky Fire." Man is becoming advanced enough to think of flight and star travel. There are forces that want to oppose that and others to help. Definitely just a theory.
My partner has been playing NMS for years and through multiple updates. So far, he hasn't seemed as impressed by this latest one.

Hate to burst your bubble Ginger, but that is a bird type that's been in the game since the very beginning. That said, they are often referred to as dragons. Back in the day, they were referred to as Migrators, because of their pathing. They would spawn and fly in a strait line until they despawned.
Yeah, that's what I also shared in the video so no big bubble bersting, yet still hungry for more info.
@@GingerPrimeGaming well, if you really want to know, there are a handful of datamines out there. At the very least, it looks like the underwater biomes will be getting some love in part 2.
This is a complete investment into LNF. They have a game that they can correctly test the next game mechanics and visuals and focus on really getting most of the bugs out for the launch. They have learned and it shows. They are trying everything to make sure they don't make the same mistake like they did in 2016.
Oh yeah, the tech upgrade here I think will also be a good test of if they have any memory leaks too, found, fixed, and then LFN doesn't have that issue/bug (hopefully)
I've been saying the same thing. No Man's Sky has a ready made, large player base, to test things for Light No Fire.

imagine if light no fire is takes place on a planet in nms, and nms players could visit it, but when they do, they appear to the natives (the players of lnf) as strange apparitions and the nsm players are unable to interact with them or the planet, only occasionally appearing as a flicker of light. so nms players are like gods to the lnf players.
Or, as you fly in your ship malfunctions and you crash. Until you "beat" light no fire and eventually can leave again :3

I’ve tried no man’s sky numerous times and it just never hooked me. Beautiful looking game but that’s about it.
The fact that you're healing items, are under a timer is stupid. If I earned the healing items, I should be able to use them whenever and however frequent. I want. This isn't a hero shooter where you have infinite items. These are items I earned!!!! That's the problem with all of these from souls like games, they're trying to force difficulty instead of actual challenge...
Hope this 3 year old vid helps cause dawntrail ened up making the game too much for my pc to fully handle streaming now and hoping switching to ps5 isn't going to be an issue or have the same issues

Thank you for this guide. As someone recently returning to FF14 from 2021, this was very helpful. I can't seem to get the Riposte macro icon to show as the ability icon- it's just the generic M macro icon however. Any tips there?
You might have to reset the macro, I've seen that happen with me since dawntrail released.
Did they need time to cook in some other areas? Yes. Is this game still a masterpiece? Also yes.
The only issue I have is the team seems to only be able to make small hill environemtns with oceans. No actual mountain peaks.rivers large plains or forests it's the same planet layout in each olanet
@@wingedhussar1453 if you look at the announcement trailer for Light No Fire, they literally fly through a mountain peak on a dragon, so I think it’s safe to assume the upcoming game will feature more detailed landscapes.

I am not impressed with no man sky worlds part one. Nothing has changed really. Light no fire looks interesting, but its a wait and see . We know Sean likes to exaggerate stuff.
I think the moment-to-moment gameplay is gonna be extra important in LNF, but I'm tentatively hyped

It should, as the Ally is a windows based machine, not linux like the steamdeck. So you should be able to just install it.

I stopped playing no man sky. Character creation felt incomplete. the story was really boring and uninteresting and seeing the same hub plus sub hubs is boring after a while.
I must respectfully disagree. No Man’s Sky is a failure because it took THIS LONG to fix its problems.
No, the problems were fixed years ago. They've just decided to continue updating it.

Again, the game was feature complete years ago. They've just continued adding more and more to the game, stuff that would cost a subscription or would be paid dlc or micro transactions in other games is just free in NMS
