Interesting to find out where prospective memory occurs in the brain? Maybe older adults have issues with this form of memory because of the natural aging process in that brain area.

I know Justin Stout. His story, while has some merit. His injuries aren't as he's been telling in most of the articles you'll read on him. He was in a car accident which had to repair both his wrists and ankles prior to any service related injuries.

How difficult has the online degree program been for students? Is it about the same as in residence or harder? I would love feedback.

Good luck. Wouldn't it basically be the same? There's still group projects and turning in things is online. All my classes didn't have a meet time so you do it before the due date. To learn it's KZread , slides, book. Sure there is tutoring but I never done that.

Sorry, if I'm not in the right place. I write out of desperation, I really need help. This is a translation from French to English on google because I speak French and not English. You control the JVC well. I would just like to increase the built-in audio volume of my new JVC GY-HM170 camera. the sound is very very low. If a high-pitched sound is emitted at 1cm from the camera in an isolated room without noise, the recorded sound is still weak. I downloaded the user manual (notice) in French because I am French-speaking, but I still have not found a solution. I don't use a handle or an external microphone, nothing, only the Camera. I film automatically. there is an external volume button on the camera near SHUTTER, but when I increase it does not influence the sound. please help me or direct me to the right address or someone could help me. thank you so much

I would NOT use the internal mic at all. Try using an external mic. If you can't, then up the volume in post-production.

To clarify my previous question, can I run a degree audit of a plan that results in a "What if" Degree audit? Or something similar? Also, the filtering for "still needed" classes seems very useful. Can I do that for a major/minor degree package that I am considering? Like I'm in Chemistry and I want to filter for "still needed" classes for a potential Biology major.

Gamification on mobile can create a learning experience that’s hard to put down. Looking for a way to reduce drop-out rates, raise engagement, and turn your course into a program your learners don’t want to stop using? Don’t we all. It may sound like a pipe dream, but the key to creating just such an experience lies in an instructional design technique that has caught on in e-learning circles in a big way. www.createonlineacademy.com/

I was privileged to be a student of Dr. Patricia Sanchez! She is an awesome professor and a spectacular mentor. I got to learn about qualitative research methodology with Dr. Sanchez. She took our hands and helped us conquer the fear of conducting a qualitative research. She not only taught us the theory but she also gave us the opportunity to acquire the skills and experience in actual data collection and analysis. I am so grateful to her and I will never forget the great experience I had at UTSA with her class.

Thus far in 2016, 42 unarmed Americans have been killed by police. 15 have been black, 19 have been white / hispanic (the others were either 'other' or unknown). So when you say lack folks 'seem' to be more likely to meet this type of demise....'seem' is the key. I respect your opinion, but statistically (ie. crime rate / murder rate, etc.) we are living in the safest environment in our country's history.

Brian, thanks for your reply. I appreciate you taking time to view and comment. So, the figures are 15 black and 19 white. Now account for proportions... I don't have stats but lets say there are twice a many whites as blacks and lets also account for the number of black incarcerated and thus taken out of the equation. Then we might, and I say might, be able to say that proportionally it seems as if Blacks are more likely or seem to be more likely....

Dr. Gill, while I respect your opinion, I must respectfully disagree with some of your comments. Instead of focusing on reparations for the descendants of slaves, why don't we focus on resolving TODAY's issues? For example, the police shootings, continued racism and discrimination by other groups, etc. Although I am starting to believe there is an overwhelming amount of African Americans killed by the police in America, I have yet to see any statistics to prove this fact. Maybe the facts are out there, but I have not seen them. Some of your comments seemed very absolute even though you didn't provide any statistics. I think if you had more statistics and proof in your argument, you would have more weight to your case. I look forward to your response as well as your next video update. And yes, I am a middle aged white man for what that is worth. Very respectfully yours - B.

B_ Foremost thank you for viewing and commenting. It means a lot that you would take time to do both. My apologies for the delay, but the producer just shared with me that we were blessed with some viewer comments. I am all for focusing on today and the present. Then I think about the Holocaust efforts, or what we have done to make amends with our Native American brothers and sisters. Still, there are groups that have been oppressed, went unrecognized and excelled and so us Blacks folks have no excuses. I just wonder what it might do for our psyche - not necessarily our bank accounts - if there were some from of acknowledgment of slavery, pre-civilrights, etc....if not reparations... Thank you again B.... E

Very touching speech. The part when she talks about the hardships of going to college really touched home. Working full time while going to college, even through summer, for four years is no easy feat (third year here). But I'm determined to finish. Great speech by the first lady.

Great video clip! The only complaint I have is that the sound track is intrusive.. I get it that it is a visual experience, so sound is not important here. A less dramatic, throbbing soundtrack (say, for e.g. Yo Yo Ma on his sublime cello) would have enhanced the viewing pleasure of this video. Otherwise, great stuff!
