The commentary is flawed; several mistakes. First of all, this high volume was pre-contest. Even some HIIT guys agree with high volume pre-contest. Secondly, those aren’t skull crushers he’s lowering them farther back, which is the better way to do them they’re called lying extensions.

С "жимом Арнольда гантелей" и тут накосячили. Какой-то лох подсмотрел, как, при уставших дельтах, кисти с гантелями проворачиваются по мере подъема, и взял эту "технику" за правильную. А ведь сам Арнольд никогда (ну или очень редко - со слов тренировавшихся вместе с ним атлетов) с такой техникой "Жимы Арнольда" не выполнял. Кисти проворачиваются только когда уже сил нет поднимать гантели ладонями к себе (от низа и до верха) - и только тогда естественным движением является такой проворот, чтобы довести мышцы до искомой кондиции. Учим матчасть, господа.
High volume has always worked better for me training moderately heavy occasionally going super heavy or occasionally training lighter than usual for high reps to build more endurance

The first parts of the vid is correct, but the last part involving supersets is 100% bs. When Arnold used supersets, it was during his pre-contest training in which he supersetted antagonist muscle groups, ie, chest and back, bi's and tri's. He never used supersets for the same muscle group as said in the video regarding back. He would superset bench press with wide grip pullups, incline press with barbell rows, db flyes with T-bar rows, dips with seated cable rows, cable crossovers with db pullovers. This routine has been posted many times in the muscle mags over decades and also a million times on YT.
