    An addiction to social media (which includes street interviews where people give their opinions or other such media where people interact) arises from a lack of human interaction. This is especially prevalent among people who spend a lot of time alone. I have encountered people who live alone who just keep the TV on so that they don't have to sit in silence. I think those of us who spend a lot of time alone and don't like too much human interaction sometimes forget that we (homo sapiens) are creatures that crave human interaction. Therefore, if human interaction was water, those who are "introverts" would need much less than the average person. However, no matter how introverted one may be, one still needs some human interaction. If one doesn't it get it from other people, current technology allows you to fill that void with people on your phone screen. Being a lone sage is extremely difficult. For most people, eventually one succumbs to the desolation of loneliness. It reminds of an episode of 三国 (2010) episode 7 where 孙坚 is riddled with arrows and his soldiers fall into disorder and one of his generals screams "不要乱 不要乱". So every hour, every day, every month of solitude is like the arrows that riddle 孙坚 and lead you closer into the abyss. So, try to find a girlfriend (or boyf... Or whatever you're into) to fill that void. You'll find that you won't be watching street interviews.

    Hey, I recently started my reading journey. Have you read Atomic Habits, 48 Laws of Power, Five Rings, or The Art of War? If so, could you recommend a reading order based on your preference?

  • @discipline_disciple17
    @discipline_disciple1720 күн бұрын

    I believe that that the universe prepares us before giving the answers to our questions, so a reading order in my opinion isn't important at all. I started to read The BIble from the end, not at all following the normal progression of the books' story. It's all about the stage of maturity that dictates what knowledge a human will even filter, in my opinion.

    Hey Carl I just found out your channel and your videos are very calming and I must say that you are cute😊 I have a question. I read in your youtube bio that you will make more online friends. But how do you manage that? Like have you ever met a stranger online who you found out was a psychopath? Because when I try to make friends online, I only find pschos or people with high ego especially when we are talking about mental health and spirituality.

    Hi there! I'm thankful for your authentic and kind comment. And, I indeed received some weird messages and comments online before. But it never affected me. I would just try to have compassion and not judge them negatively. I wouldn't reply though. I only invest my time on people who are genuine and kind whether in real life or online. I don't give my power away to people. I just do what I do and keep doing them no matter what people think. I'd love to talk to you more and have an online chat if you feel interested. I have already talked individually with my subscribers a few times. We all enjoyed it very much. Let me know.
