This Internet thing really seems to be catching on... I have a theory: social media is a positive that can be used as a tool to bring us closer together.
I don't believe that the internet is inherently good, but I think it has the potential to be good. I feel like every day I look at my phone or check my email to feel a certain connection to folks miles and continents away from me. That's the meaning that I seek, this connection is communicated but not necessarily expressed.

How to update ios15 on 10 years old iPad air
Hi i didnt realy get everything as i am a windows user who whants to use osc on his old Ipad 2. Did i understand correcly that u need an old ios version on ur desktop in order to flash the old ipad with the osc app over usb connection ? is there alternative firmeware ?

It seems to have worked. This is literally a bathroom tablet these days. Don't care what happens to it, just as long as it connects to wifi, and a web browser works.
Super late to the game here but I was just looking up what I could do with some of the old iPads I have lying around. As a computer technician clients sometimes give me there old iPads when I help them configure their new ones. This is brilliant. A steam deck equivalent. I just hope the apps are still available. So this tells us how to re-purpose an old iPad as a sort of special purpose keyboard to control various bits of software. I don't have a Mac. I use AutoHotkey on my PC which enables quite easy use of the keyboard to do a lot of stuff.

I'm buying an iPad, I don't update because it's new, it's agile and fast. I don't update and I don't connect it to the internet, but after a couple of years Apple warns me that the applications will stop working if I don't update. But if I update my iPad it becomes unusable. Apple then decides when my device should stop working. Apple you are damned greedy dogs

I have an iPad 4th Generation 64GB Wifi+Cellular Non jailbroken in Excellent Factory Condition with Not even a Microscopic scratch ! My iPad runs YT in 1080p and it also runs Games from Playstation 1 - Playstation 5 - PC using a Cloud Gaming app that requires good internet speed ! I use a Chinese Bluetooth Controller for Games ! Games in ipad 4 runs like butter ! I have even played GTA 5 in my iPad 4 which was a very immersive and great experience ! 🥰🥰 Apple guys says that iPad 4 do not support 1080p Streaming ... well.. I turned those pickleheads down ! They don't even know what they built 12 years ago ! My discovery is gonna help all the iPad 2,3,4 owners to watch YT in 1080p and also to play same jaw dropping games in such a gorgeous Retina Display ! Honestly you will never use your PS-5 Again after playing games in its Retiina Display ! So , To all the guys in the World who complain about iPad 2,3,4 that these are no longer usable , Well .... I’m having trouble getting a nice crisp white background like yours. I am spending way too much time removing backgrounds and making them white. Are your two lights giving you the even white background? Do you need to adjust brightness later to get bright white? Or just the dropper? I don’t shoot in raw. Maybe that’s an issue too?

My 2008 ipad is in good condition but i cant open anything at all,, because most apps are not supported ,, i cant even open my email :( so sad from apple to do this with our old devices

Got interested, then felt disappointed cuz this is a Mac solution
I loath getting rid of expensive and outdated electronics ! I prefer trying to find a use for them as technology changes and take advantage of the large screen in conjunction with my up to date iPhone . With Wi-Fi and blue tooth they are still useful ! In this case , for my fishing boat I can use as a larger screen for mapping apps off my iPhone ! Because there is no hot spot feature on the old iPad it would have to be hard wired in to the iPhone with adapters .
It will not work even hard wired with Yam if you are trying to use the iPad bigger screen from an iPhone . Yam confirmed it !

I started to make this video because I found a way to hack it but it wasn't reliable. If you upload the way I showed you and then go to your video on a computer while it's still uploading, you can change it. I think they're definitely going to make that a possibility soon.

the bit that i don't grok is how to do the cable-tethered TouchOSC -> macOS connection with touchOSC - considering it requires a macOS IP to be set to the iPad. I don't know how to do that.

I'll have to look into this further, I'm not sure exactly how I would implement this, but I'd love to make my Mac time faster. It can get very tedious without macros. Yes, in terms of a few examples, but also intrigued by using this as a speedy controller for another machine. I run a Mac Mini M1 Chip 32 GB (Late 2020) , Model MGNR3LL/A . My iPad Mini 2 is model A1490 Wi-Fi + Cellular. I do a lot of writing, and am getting into Python and SQL, and programming with AI. Web programming is very tedious too. I also use an iPad Pro. I understand if you can’t help me because my needs are pretty low tech. Lol thanks.
@@elizabethingram9784 Keyboard Maestro isn't paying me to promote them so there might be other options out there. I honestly just figured this one out a while ago and have been sticking with it because I haven't had any issues. Touch OSC has a new app now for newer iPads that I know I need to do some kind of update video on. Anything else you'd like to see in the update video?
