I'm the 3rd generation of my family to find a love for cruising. What started as a way for my grandparents to recall the experiences of their cruises has turned into much more. Now you too can relive the highlights from a particular cruise should you have sailed with me - or even if you haven't you're still welcome to watch. Videos will typically be individual or consecutive cruises, showing the ship, then the places visited and sights seen.

is coffee available 24 hours, my husband gets up about 3 or 4 am??
On this cruise, both Cafe Lattetudes (for specialty coffee) and Park Cafe in the Solarium did not open until 6 am. Sister ships Brilliance, Jewel and Serenade of the Seas I think have a 24 hour coffee station outside of the Windjammer, however on Radiance of the Seas this is where you'll find Boardwalk Doghouse.
Why isn't there a wide-screen TV on the wall? I guess I've been spoiled by the big ships 🙂
Thank you for sharing. We plan to be on this ship in July 2024.
I enjoyed watching this video. It captured the beautiful journey.
I was on this ship back in 2009 on a 5day cruise to Ensenada and Cabo. The ship hasn’t aged one bit.
This is a really good video. I truly enjoyed it. We will be taking this cruise in Sept. 2024!
The best video I found about Radiance of the Seas ship and ports! Long enough and includes all what you need to see before your trip.
Excellent video!
What an incredibly thorough walkthrough! Thanks!
My wife and I were on the ship the same time
Hey! We were on this very same cruise! We joined you in Honolulu! Such a great cruise! Thanks for the compliation video, it brought back some great memories!
I’m planning to take this ship from Honolulu to Sydney , Oct 2024. Do Aussies need a visa for Tahiti ?
Australians do not need a visa for cruises calling at French Polynesia. Enjoy your trip!
Is a visa needed for open loop cruises? Leaving the states and returning to Canada then flying back to the states
Zzzzzzzz
@letskeepitreal601: Are you starting your cruise in Australia (Sydney or Brisbane)? If so then as a US passport holder I understand you'll either need an Australian electronic travel authority or a tourist visa.
I am doing a similar cruise April / early May 2024 and I’m curious about the weather and sea conditions on the last leg going Hawaii to Vancouver. What was your experience?
Hi, for the 9 day Honolulu-Vancouver leg the weather was mostly sunny and above 20°C for the first 6 days. But by the last couple of days (day 8 - 9) the daily maximum was around 12°C - definitely not short sleeve weather! The seas were not too rough, from memory. At one point the water was so smooth it almost looked like glass.
@@3rdGenCruiser thank you. That is helpful.
Thanks for the question asked and the response. We are booked for the exact time/ month and destination. This is helpful
Just discovered your channel and like what we see. Given it a SUBSCRIBE to come back and see more of your future travels👍
The ship and that cruise looks totally like something we would do. Fabulous.
It was a loads of fun! Four Royal Caribbean ships are doing the Hawaii + Transpacific route this coming Australian cruise season - Ovation of the Seas and Brilliance of the Seas both sail to/from Sydney and Quantum of the Seas sails to/from Brisbane. Plus there is Serenade of the Seas on her Ultimate World Cruise 28 night mini segment between Los Angeles and Brisbane.
We loved this video. Older ships like Radiance are definitely a favourite with us, and you've done well in capturing the many features of the ship on the ship-tour part of this video. Its also a style that we very much favour of pointing the camera at interesting stuff and letting the pictures do the talking ✔ You also made your Alaska destinations look amazing too.
Thanks for your kind comment! This style of video started as a keep-sake for family, but then I thought fellow cruisers (and those considering a similar cruise) might also find it interesting or useful. 😀
That's a very common starting place for many people, including us. But you're right, over time, you realise people want to see, investigate, discover what you have experienced as they want to book and travel that same place, ship, hotel etc @@3rdGenCruiser
Do this in reverse Oct 2024
We are also planning this Honolulu to Sydney Oct 2024 but the pricing is driving me crazy .. If you did it this year 2023 it’s only $1099 but and a huge BUT , next year it’s $2600 .. What is going on , why more then double ??
