I just purchased 2023 wagoneer and stop/start hasn't worked at all for first 150 miles...on my RAM it works fine with AC on...so far it won't turn off in any circumstances.

I finally get to see the left lane hogger from his perspective. As soon as they get on the highway they rush to the left lane and stay there no matter what. Not passing, keeping ridiculous distance from car in front, cars passing on the right...no? No clue right? I'll just keep driving here till I get where I'm going... Man ppl like that annoy me, and so many others so much.

I’m having the same problem with my Wagoneer 2022 it’s a series II but mine has more problems and mine the auto off sometimes won’t work and sometimes it did auto stop. And the real problem is that mine when it goes to auto stop, it will automatically shift to park. And my engine went off permanently so I need to push the start button again to start. 😢

And this is why you don't buy a vehicle in the first model year. Its not just Stellantis experiencing issues either, all of the manufacturers are having post pandemic issues. New software releases are out there and as long as the dealer has a tech who is savvy at electronics uploads you should be fine. Im waiting on my 23 "L" to be built, I truly expect not seeing it until May or June of 2023.

@@dehill9711 yes if it isnt working reset the radio in settings. Not factory reset just radio reset and clear the performance value.

@@dehill9711 mine at one point didnt allow me to control the back screens from passenger or driver middle screen so i factory reset the tvs and synced em and boom it worked. I have trouble shot a lot of little quirks

You should be happy auto-stop isn't working. That feature will damage your engine over time with oil pressure dropping then rising. Worst feature car makers could come up with.

It’s unfortunate that if you don’t want to use this feature you have to turn it off every single time you get in the car. I wish that if you turned it off at stayed off until you chose to turn it back on for the duration.

I'm not arguing, just offering a different perspective. I drove a 2018 Chevy Traverse for right at 6 years and the auto/stop worked perfectly. Never really saw any oil pressure or other engine issues.

Turn your auto start stop off. World's dumbest feature meant to cheat emissions and fuel testing. Turn the feature off you don't need your vehicle to turn off. Also because you don't understand how something works... You call it a problem when infact it's your lack of understanding.

I own a wagoneer and other vehicles with this feature and climate setting isn't at its set point on the in side and the vehicle thinks it still needs to cool the interior it won't stop because the a/c compressor only works when the engine is on. Also if the wheel is turned too much it can stop it from auto turning off because it thinks you are about to do an immediate driving action so it doesn't want the lag of having to wait for it to start if you have to get right on the gas. Hope this makes you feel better .

This makes so much sense to me because I’ve been watching this feature glitch the two months that I’ve owned my new Wagoneer and all I could come up with is in the morning when I pull it out of the garage the feature always works. After I come out from work and it’s been sitting in the sun all day the feature doesn’t work. The cabin being really warm on my only 15 minute drive home will explain why the auto stop doesn’t engage. Thank you so much! I was pretty upset that my extremely expensive luxury SUV that I finally treated to myself at this age was failing me. Long time Jeep on her since I was a kid and this is the first one I’ve had problems with.

Lol So unless we have been on a road trip for a good amount of time that feature doesn't save me on gas much. I always wonder about the starters on all these new cars always restarting your vehicle multiple times a drive. I am old school and you used to always hear about people needing a starter from their mechanic. Lol maybe the have figured it all out now. 🤞

Its based on climate settings. If the cabin cold or hot enough it will turn off.

Did you get anywhere with Jeep to help. Mine does the same thing it's related to the blind spot monitorig. Does it going straight down the highway as well. Not user error like the feed back from those posts.

It’s driving assist level two. It’s only supposed to keep you within lane so anytime there’s going to be a turn or a bend you need to be steering it and I noticed in the video that’s when it was pulling you into the other side. But I do agree it’s not pinpoint in the center lined up on mine either but it’s not that bad.
