I have gotten the diagnosis as an adult. I never had any food allergies before so it is entirely new territory for me. I'm currently taking Pantoprazole. The first and earliest symptom started one year ago as heart burn, but it stopped after drinking water. Then regurgitation happened after eating dry food or cold liquids. There is also some mild dysphagia and irritation while swallowing foods. I have adapted by being very careful of what I eat and the amount I eat. It sucks to be this careful about eating foods.

I am in Alabama and it has been raining everyday here but it hasn't cooled things off any .I went to Walmart the other day and was there about two hours and sent arround ten dollars.I just needed to get out and be some that wasn't home or the doctor.❤🙏

Girl I almost cried listening to this. Honestly what she did was ridiculous. No matter what,she shouldn’t have gone that far! Wow, and to think you had a little baby and she still has the mind to do that wow!!! Thank God it all ended in a story time. I once had a friend I genuinely love and treated like a sister, and she went behind me to talk bad stuffs about me to my at the time fiancée’, they both ended up getting married.. girl it was a lot. They even had a child together but guess what he left her for another girl and look at me now married to a well to do man and 3 beautiful kids. Her own karma was crazy cos that guy treated her like a dog before he left her😬

Oh noooo definitely not. I think I’m just able to look at even horrible situations from different perspectives and have gratitude for good things while also learning from them. I’m extremely picky with people I surround myself with or even associate with. My peace is so important to me so I’m very selective at this point.

110% understand what you mean about feeling the need to clarify how grateful you are for your family and comfort, etc. Being in recovery for 7 years, I'm a constant embodiment of gratefulness and pride in what I've accomplished and overcome. It's always on my mind, and seeing my son grow and thrive is the greatest reminder of my strength and resilience, and how full of love I am. But because of layered trauma, I always feel the need to prove myself, making sure everyone around me is comfortable and knows how appreciative I am, showing off my best self so that no one worries about me or is even remotely reminded of how I used to be. Imposter syndome is so real.

Ugh I relate to this so much. And wow 7 years!! That is amazing, you should be so so proud of yourself! Our past versions of ourselves are nothing to be ashamed of, they got us here to this moment now and all of us have had moments of shame and things we aren’t proud of.
