  This is called Electrical Tape wire. It is self adhesive copper strip to carry the power.

  When i wanted a dollhouse but didn't want or know how to build one, i was thinking maybe hire a carpenter. Tell them i want a bookshelf because thats basically what it is. Just add some cut outs for doors and windows. Probably cheaper than hiring soneone to custom build a dollhouse I never was able to get that either

  I'm surprised the miniature lights aren't LED and are still screw in bulbs that get hot and burn out

  We do have some LED lights, but they are battery powered and give off a cooler light.
