  The best churning was the us mint deals. I remember depositing $1 uncirculated coins at my bank on my business account $5k at a time 😂 the best part was the mint would overnight them to me via ups . Got to the point where tellers were asking for the coins because they would collect them. The golden age points and miles.

  For those of us who don’t run a business profiting off of award travel, it’s not worth putting time and energy into a transfer point or purchase point redemption for travel to save a few hundred bucks. There’s way higher ROI in just booking cash and focusing time and energy on growing your investments and business.

  Hi Julia! Been a big fan of your channel for a while now and took your course! Thank you for all you do! Just wanted to point out that you mention a few times in your video that Capital One is not a transfer partner of Iberia. However, it is a transfer of other avios programs, like British Airways, as shown in another example on your video. If one avios program is a transfer partner then all avios programs are transfer partners as you can move avios between programs instantly and for free. I believe for the BA to Iberia avios transfer you have to have had your Iberia account active for 30 days and have transferred points previously (you can transfer avios between avios programs in small increments - ie don't have to be in increments of 1,000 etc), so best to open an Iberia account asap, so this is all ready to go!

  I think it depends on how you feel. Each person would measure it differently. If you really want to try Emirates FC but don’t want to pay high fees or don’t have enough points, this considers a good deal. Of course we all want to take a longer flight.

  I find you so sweet and adorable and of course ultra travel points savvy! The travel poinrs guru! Hahaha. I think you have a Filipino mom (I am one) because you instruct so well which is helpful to anyone, but especially for Filipinos and other Asian moms, or any moms out there who need detailed instructions presented in a way that older moms like me and not tech savvy can understand! It is adorable! I love when you show things like " then you click this, and you go here"... they are so helpful. And i think for EVERYONE, whether you're young or old who wants to learn better. You're so helpful. Thank you for what you do. I hope you keep this kind of format of instructions because it actually helps. So many other KZreadrs speak so fast and not get into details you're still left confused after watching their long video. Salamat.

  You just look for the flight. Anyone can search on their own. What you need to show is how to book using your points from your credit card

Usually I've heard that finding the saver award space is the hard part and once you find where the good deals are, then transferring your points over is the easy part, but I can definitely make some tutorials for how to move points over e.g. how to move Capital One to Air Canada.   Julia, Thanks for this podcast. I have issues with some of the information Brighton and Mila discussed. You can't just blanket cancel flight reservations without cost if you are using many non-US carriers. It seemed that they led the listeners into believing canceling flights is FREE. (42:50, 44:05) Also, simply piecing trips together by making reservations at different times is not always a good idea. (43:45) I separately booked SFO to Paris and Paris to Marseille, booking the trip in pieces. If I had booked at the same time, the second leg would have been free. It seemed like this important information was left out. Thanks.

  Had to share...last weekend I was helping my sister and brother-in-law find tickets for their first award flight. We used pointhound and low and behold, we found then 2 business class on Air France using points on Virgin for 48,500. They got 2 business class tickets for 97,000 points
