A well done parody ssgd1960! I was about 9 or so when my dad bought that album, I learned to sing all of those songs much to my dad's embarassment. Dad was a B-52 pilot. I did 8 years regular and 13 years reserve, all in the Navy as a P-3 AW. I had a great time all around but then I never got shot at ( that I know of ) either.

would you happen to have the lyrics in some form where they could be transmitted, for instance as a document or in mp3 format? can't get hold of the cd quickly and want to learn this for someone's birthday in a few days.

You boys do a great job. I was born in 1964 and my folks were very much into your dad and the Clancy Brothers. These songs are fantastic. Please don't stop playing them, my son loves them now as much as I loved them back then.
