  There is an unpopular opinion says that's the Translator Ebn El moqafaa, he wrote this himself to satire the rulers and Khalifs at the time, and in order not to be imprisoned nor tortured he made all of his protagonist animals, thus he was killed. No trace of the Philospher Bidba or whoever the translator was relating the book to.

  لا أعرف لماذا هذا الاستعلاء على اللغة العربية و الثقافة العربية ، في الدراسات الفرنسية و في غيرها من اللغات يتم مناقشة المسائل فيها باللغة نفسها إلا في اللغة العربية، أنتم متخصصون باللغة العربية و طلابكم يدرسون الآداب العربية و أنتم تتحدثون في هذا اللقاء العلمي عن كتاب من الأدب العربي فلماذا لا تناقشون ذلك بالعربية ؟ السبب يعرف عندما تتحدثون بالعربية ، خاصة أولئك الذين يعملون في الاستشراق في المؤسسات البحثية في الغرب ، لم نر يوما مؤتمرا استشراقيا يحضره أساتذة جامعات غربية تكون لغة المؤتمر هي العربية ، لهذا لا نثق بداسات هؤلاء المستشرقين و ننظر لها بعين الريبة

  Kalila wa dimna was based on Ancient Indian Panchtantra book, however some more cultural Arabic things were added

  ​@@as-jv7qk Well this is not quite a translation as even in the Paarsig (Middle Persian) version that was not a straight translation but a selection from the original. So even that early, the work produced was an 'edited version. When Ibn Muqaffah started working on this for the Arabic version, he was starting with a substantially modified work from Paarsig. And he made some more changes. There are many variations around. I have a "Fus-haa" (Classical Arabic) version. Interesting that the Aramaic version was created even earlier. Not surprising since one of the languages in Sasanian Persia was Imperial Aramaic!

  A super power foreign policy, diplomatic or militaristic, should be forceful and consistent. Nether of them are present in Biden's. He talks about supporting Democracy and freedom while he delivered Afghanistan to the most backward and violent Taliban and he is begging Iran, the most undemocratic regime, to come to the table for an agreement which will expire under his presidency. He talks about focusing on China while he delivers the Middle East to Chinese on a silver plate. Almost all Middle east countries are leaning toward China or Russia as a result. The NATO alliance is even at a worse shape now that it was under Trump. To summaries, our foreign policy is schizophrenic at best and total disaster.
